I discovered Highland Glacier Clay earlier this year and I will be a customer for life!! Product is exceptional quality and the styling hold is amazing. It’s the only hair product I’ve found that a simple running my hands through my hair throughout the day immediately lets me refresh and restyle! Smells great and goes a long way. I LOVE THIS CLAY.I’ve tried tons of different clays, sprays, and pomades and have squeezed every lemon in existence to give my hair some nice highlights. My hair still doesn’t look like a movie star with all the lemon juice, but I at least found Highland Glacial Clay which accentuates my hair’s straight/wavy nature.The clay itself feels very natural with no greasy chemicals that would make you have second thoughts about putting into your hair. In terms of hold, I would describe it as a medium hold. For me, I live in the south where the humidity likes turn it up to max during the summer. Luckily, this clay gives me about a good 6-8 hours of hold/styling. The clay doesn’t feel like it turns your hair into glue.If anything, it makes my hair look even more natural and gives a lot more definition without being the clay bean overly thick to accomplish a desired hold. On a side note, not important to me in particular, but there is very little trace of a smell with clay if that is important to you.My only problem with this product is that Mr. Krabs set the price. It’s a tad expensive and the product size is small. Otherwise, I think this clay gives a nice happy medium in terms of hold and also feels very organic.

Terrible purchase
This is a terrible product. It’s not as advertised. I bought this because I wanted something healthy for my hair, something organic, natural, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want the product to work, or I want to be lied to. Low shine, an absolute joke. This thing makes my hair look like I just got out the shower. It looks completely wet. It looks very greasy. I put it on when my hair was dry, and it does not have a low shine at all, like not even close. So right off the bat, red flag. Medium hold, this thing has absolutely no hold on my hair. Yes, I have thick wavy hair, but there’s no way this is a medium hold. This is even worse than a light hold. It’s almost like this has no hold at all. I mean, I have it on right now, and it’s barely holding anything together. Barely. And I’ve wet it, and I blow dried it, and wet it so that it could try and stay back, because I slicked my hair back, and this thing is just not doing anything. Anything that it says, the low shine, not true. Medium hold, not true. It’s pretty much lying to us, and I’m not sure how all the reviews are so good for this. I really wanted something with clean ingredients, and this really let me down. It’s sad because this company looked like it was doing a lot of good stuff, but yeah, I had to return this immediately. Terrible product. Do not buy this. They’re straight up lying to people.

It’s ok, a little greasy.
Works pretty well, one issue is if for some treason it starts letting go it starts to look very greasy, not a good look for a professional setting.It still is pretty nice if it is applied to damp hair, imo overpriced for what it delivers vs cost.

Decent for shorter styles
The pomade feels nice in the hand and applies smoothly. It gives a subtle finish with low shine, which I find appealing. The hold is decent for everyday use and keeps shorter styles in place. However, it does not work well on longer than usual men’s hair. I like that it is made with organic ingredients and feels gentle on the scalp. Overall, it is a nice option if you keep your hair on the shorter side.

Love this product! Although it’s called a pomade, it’s really more of a clay. Not greasy or sticky. And washes out fairly easy. I have long hair (down to my mid back) and I use it tame those annoying flyaways. It makes my hair feel softer and I love that there’s only natural ingredients. No junk or toxic crap. The hold isn’t super strong but perfect for what I use it for. I’ve seen complaints about the hold but not sure what those people expects it says medium hold. 🤷🏼♂️
