The Honest Gentle Gel Cleanser is hands down the best cleanser I’ve ever used. It works so well, and the bottle lasts me a long time. This is a travel-size face wash that is truly gentle, small, and cleanses without stripping the hands or face of its natural oils. It’s not the most gentle face wash I’ve ever used, but it was good for the size and price.I want to warn customers though I ordered this right before Hurricane Helene flooded our apartment in St. Pete. Thankfully it got here right before the hurricane, and as the mailbox was really high and this was in a bag, I was still able to use it.However, when I contacted the Honest company, told them my situation, and let them know I lost 100 percent of my makeup (worth around 1,000 dollars) and told them that neither FEMA nor the renter’s insurance has reimbursed me for my lost property, and that I wanted to know if they could donate one mascara to me — just one —- they said no. They don’t donate at all to customers nor make exceptions for survivors of hurricanes that are trying to build back their lives.What a charitable company! I hope Jessica Alba is proud of their customer service team because I thought that they are supposed to represent the values of the company.They should change their name from Honest to something that suits their true values because they sent the message that what they truly care about is GREED. I think considering how many products I’ve bought from them in the past and how much money this company makes what would have been balanced was for them to have donated at least one mascara to me. Look at how much money they make per year.But karma is real. If you make that much and give very little back eventually that kind of energetic deficit comes back to your company.I want to be honest here —- they make great makeup products, but their values and morals as a company is questionable.

Nice gel facial cleanser- removes my makeup
Overall I really enjoy this gentle gel facial cleanser. It is a good value for the amount you get and I love that it has a pump. It has a very subtle natural floral scent to it which I don’t mind. I found it does a good job at removing my makeup, which is an important factor for me. After wetting and rubbing it together with your hands it has a very nice foamy texture. It could potentially be a little drying for someone who has very dry skin, but I have combination skin and it works fine for me. Would purchase again.

It’s an okay cleanser
This face wash is so so for me. I use it pretty much daily and have been for a few months. It does last a long time and the pump is really convenient. It’s a clear color and the scent is a little different. It’s not a bad smell, but it’s not weak or strong. I have kind of sensitive skin and I don’t think this cleanser has caused breakouts. I think it only cleans okay though. I notice I have to really scrub to make sure all of my make up is off. Occasionally I pair it with a balm to start getting my makeup off and then use this cleanser which seems to help.

I love The Honest Company’s products because they work exceptionally well and importantly are EWG-VERIFIED. This gel cleanser is SUPERB and has a unique scent that is a bit difficult to describe! Anyone who has issues with facial cleansers simply must try this product! A fairly limited amount of product can be dispensed, but I’ve discovered that even less — a mere pea-sized amount — is all you need to use. I add just a bit of water to the gel, rub the mixture between my hands for about 10 seconds, wait for a light lather to appear, and then apply it to my face. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and supple and there are absolutely no issues with dryness. In fact, it almost seems to be healing my skin in a few areas. I will definitely be buying this product again. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Overall a solid choice for a clean and gentle cleanser, but the oils could be irritating for some.I originally purchased this while searching for a clean, gentle cleanser, and I liked that this one is free of fragrances, parabens, etc. I also use the hydrogel cream from this brand daily and really enjoy it. I’ve purchased this cleanser twice and been using it for around 5 months now.At first, the chamomile scent felt a bit strong for me, but I adjusted to it after a few uses. The cleanser does a great job of cleaning my skin without leaving it overly dry or stripped. I also have acne prone skin and haven’t had any issues.I gave it 4 stars mainly because some of the oils in the formula may be a bit irritating for certain skin types, including mine on occasion. I might look into other options next time, like the Osea cleanser, but I’d definitely consider coming back to this if I need a reliable cleanser that’s worked well for me overall.
