Nice, easy to use, no fuss tea infuser.
These are nice, small tea infusers. Perfect for an afternoon cup of tea, They can be a bit difficult to clean as water is just as likely to run off of them as through them because of the fine gauge mesh they’re using here. I find I have to scrape out bits of herbs or tea leaves rather than being able to rinse them out. But, otherwise, they’re perfectly serviceable and even come with a nice little tray to set the infuser on before or after you make your tea. They are thin, so you won’t want to grab them with any great force as you’ll crush them inward, but you get two in a pack so even if one does get damaged, you still have a second. They work well and soap takes any tea residue right off them as they’re stainless steel. I’d say they have about a two tablespoon capacity of regular loose leaf or herbal tea. Tightly coiled tea leaves might not be able to fully expand in these as they aren’t roomy enough for that, but, you wouldn’t really be buying these for that kind of tea anyway.

After hearing about the way plastics from tea bags can infuse into my cup of tea, I decided I had to switch to a tea infuser and loose leaf tea. I researched which product to buy quite a bit and am happy I settled on this one.Fine mesh: On other product reviews, I heard a lot of complaining that too many bits of tea were getting through the strainers’ holes and ultimately into their mouths. I’m using PG Tips loose leaf with this, which is about the consistency of instant coffee, and not a bit of it gets through. Works perfectlyEase of use: These infusers are easy to load up and the lid screws on and off easily. For sure, the cleaning of these (or any) infusers is inconvenient, but now that I’ve gotten the hang of it, I find it’s not such a big deal.For me, I don’t want ANY tea leaves down my sink since they are not water soluble and will eventually clog it. So as soon as the tea is ready, I pull the infuser out of my cup, rinse the closed infuser in cool water until it is no longer too hot to touch, then I unscrew and dump it out in the trash. Much of it sticks to the sides of the infuser, so I’ve worked out to use a toothpick to dislodge it. Once it is mostly all out, then I scrape the sides of the toothpick along the edge of the infuser to get the toothpick clean and set the infuser and the toothpick aside to use again. If it want a second cup of tea (or third or fourth) I use it again without additional cleaning. But at the end of the day, when it’s time to clean it thoroughly, I use my finger to rub off the final thin layer of tea bits (that have now dried) from the inside of the infuser. They fall right off and also don’t stick to my finger. Then I wash it along with my other dishes in the sink. Sounds like a lot, I know, but once you are in the routine it’s really not a big deal.Taste: It took some experimenting to get the right amount of tea into infuser, but now that I’ve got the formula down, it makes a great cup. No metal taste or any other issueNice gadgets: This set also comes with a nice scooper that clips right onto your bag of tea, little metal plates to set the wet infuser onto and little hooks on the end of the infuser chain to keep the infuser from getting lost down in the bottom of your cup.All in all, it works great

Great fine mesh infuser. Never have flotsam in your tea again with this one!
Best small batch infusers I have ever used. I purchased these because I am a loose leaf tea drinker and sometimes drink herbals also. I really do not care to get flotsam in my tea from using an infused that has mesh that is not fine enough. I have two of these and one I use strictly for green tea and the other I use with herbals as well as other teas. The mesh is extremely fine however, the water still flows freely enough to be able to leave the infuser still in your cup or pot without having to swish it around. I am very satisfied with this item. It cleans up easily enough and the screw lid works very nicely incase you wish to suspend it into a pot. The chain is long enough to hook it around the handle of the pot and still dangle nicely in the hot water. I have now purchased a few more of these and have gifted them to my tea drinking friends.

LOVE this for single serve coffee!
Single serve coffee easy! I love this for my coffee, im single and it saves me having to clean up a coffee pot , a game changer for me, i got an hour of my life back a week!! Mesh is fine enough for expresso . hasn’t rusted in the salt environment, i live on a boat. Water is at a premium so not having to wash a coffee pot is a big deal for me.Of course it works for tea also.

Tried numerous tea infusers over the years an so far this stands out as the best. Easy to add the tea. Easy to clean. All grades of tea can be brewed whether fine or coarse. The infuser is more suitable for a mug/large cup of tea an can be used in a tea pot. Also There is adequate room to add plenty of tea for a teapot.

I’m very happy with this infuser. The mesh is quite fine, so no little crushed bits sneak through into my tea. And it’s also a generous size, which allows the leaves lots of room to expand. My tea is definitely tasting more flavourful (I was using a tea ball previously). Initially, I thought I might be bothered about the fact that I can’t use the lid for my teapot while brewing my tea, but it’s really not a big deal at all. I just pop on the infuser lid (which doubles as a receptacle for the infuser once you remove it from your pot/cup) during brewing, then put the teapot lid back on and I’m good to go.
