Some of the flavors are good for those with allergies / alpha-gal (safe).
Good amount of calories and nutrition. Daughter is practically living off the stuff right now. She has a lot of allergies, but a few of the flavors (coffee, strawberry/banana) are still safe.It’s good to have found a 100% dairy-free protein source which doesn’t have rice, sunflower, corn, hemp, quinoa/grains, maltodextrin(corn), cellulose, or vanilla (other flavors still have some of those). As I said A LOT of allergies! These have been a lifesaver. Hopefully the formula won’t change!Flavors:Coffee: Said it tastes kind of like chocolate milk, which she was missing before. Good boost in the morning, gives her energy. Filling, keeps her going until ready for meal time later. Good thickness, not like a shake or anything, but a little less thick than Ensure. This one doesn’t really smell like coffee, kind of a weird artificially sweet smell. But it still tastes good.Strawberry Banana: She doesn’t taste the strawberry. Faint banana. Kind of a little backtaste of Dubble Bubble gum from the old days. Same thickness as the coffee flavor. Smooth. This one helps her sleep! So it has become dinner most of the time.

Overall the taste is good. It is not thick or smelly. I have not experienced any aftertaste. Definitely tastes better cold. I am happy with the protein and nutrition values. Overall for me, this is a good supplement drink so far. It does not make me feel over full or bloated. I am trying all flavors.

Delicious, Smooth, and Filling!
This is a VERY delicious meal replacement option! The vanilla is smooth and delicious (not even gritty at all, despite the plant-based protein) and also works as a perfect base to add to a morning smoothie or shake. I usually enjoy it by itself however. The lids are also interesting as they open fully yet have a little bit of a “flip-top” portion that prevents it from fully coming off. After shaking the bottle the liquid may pool inside the cap which can be annoying sometimes. The 35g of protein, 6g of fiber, and numerous other included vitamins/minerals makes this a great way to ensure you are getting what your body deserves, especially on busy days! The coconut sugar added is minimal, yet adds just enough sweetness to the shake. This is also perfect for those who hate the taste of Stevia. Furthermore, this makes sense price-wise (around $4.50/bottle) as you get both the convenience and nutritional value a single bottle provides. (I believe a single bottle is around a third of most peoples’ protein goals.) I’ve been purchasing Huel for a while now and they’ve never disappointed me!

The vanilla black edition huel is so delicious it tastes like vanilla cake to me or a birthday cake flavor but it isn’t too sweet. As someone who really doesn’t like sweet flavors this is perfect. I appreciate it has 35 grams of protein and a full panel of vitamins and minerals. Most protein shakes do not have nearly as much protein or vitamins. This is a win all around. My kid even likes this she says it’s delicious. I love that it is a meal replacement as well, enough calories to feel full. Definitely recommend this.
