I was really skeptical about trying another product to remedy my very deep forehead and jowl wrinkles. I’m so glad I tried it! It’s been a few weeks and I see a significant difference not only in the wrinkle depth, but in the enlarged pores I had nasal labial area! I can no longer feel the crease lines deep in my forehead and the skin appears to have tightened up so the wrinkles aren’t as pronounced anymore.A little goes a very long way! Definitely start out using it gradually as directed and ALWAYS follow up with a quality moisturizer (preferably one with collagen in it). Avoid the eye area…this stuff is STRONG! Don’t forget to use a moisturizer with SPF if you’re leaving the house and I’d even suggest giving your skin breaks from it once you get up to daily usage. I alternate with HA and my skin is looking so much more youthful! I’m 53 and without the deep forehead canyons, I’ve dropped 10 years from my appearance. I’m going to order another bottle because o don’t ever want to run out!Buy this! It shipped fast and it’s worth every penny!

I use this serum everyday. It’s good for slathering all over your face and neck (IF you’re used to retinals). I use this in the day (I have an office job with little UV exposure) and Rx at night, but I’ve been using retinals for decades. Be careful if you’re new to retinals. Watch some videos. Low and slow.It’s a good weight for year round and it doesn’t pill with my other products or sunscreen (I use this as my second step as it’s a fairly thin texture). I don’t wear makeup so I can’t comment on how it behaves.

I have used this product for years and it’s a simple way to incorporate retinol into your skin regime. Start out slowly with once or twice a week and work up to three or four. It takes a while to see results but with regular use, your skin will look improved.

I’m 52 and can’t afford treatments like Botox and fillers so this is the next most effective option for me.This is one of the only brands that has 0.3% pure retinol that is sustainable in the chemical blend they’ve made. I am a huge fan of tretinol or tretinoid which is the origin of retinol and mainly used as an acne medication, but you need a prescription for it. I was only taking a dose of 0.25% of it. The L’Oreal is one of only over the counter Retinols that is next best effective retinol on the market due to my research and opinion in Canada.If you have not used it before it can be very drying and can easily irritate sensitive skin, so start lightly or only do it every few nights. And build up a tolerance. There is a slight smell, I had to smell it to see if there was one for this review, it is not perfumy. And absolutely never wear it in the sun/day you’ll do more damage to your skin. This is a for life life serum. You you should add a good mosturizer and vitamin C serum to get great results. if you can get the prescription go for it, if not it’s the next best. If you are in the US there are some other over the counter tretinol options. You can youtube hot and flashy, retinoltrentinol episode, she has a lot a of good info.

Love that this product is scent free and easy to spread. I’ve been using this product since April 2021 and can confirm that it has improved the texture of my skin, made it glow and decreased wrinkles. With retinol consistency is key especially when using an OTC product. I’ve read a lot of complaints about this burning people’s skin and this being too strong but I think this product is perfect just the way it is. Its stronger then most OTC products but not as strong as prescription. If you’re new to retinol I would suggest starting with a weaker retinol product before upgrading to this as this is getting pretty close to prescription strength retinol which requires a tolerance which is a long process to build towards (in order to reap the positive benefits). Below I’ve included some tips that I found helpful when I first started including retinol into my skincare routine. Overall, I would say patience and persistence paid off but keep in mind with OTC products you won’t see results as quick as prescription so don’t expect to use this for a month and see drastic results. I started to really notice results after using this consistently for 6 months.Tips- wait 30 mins after washing your face to apply product (to prevent irriation)- start slow as in try using every third or fourth night and gradually increase (you may have to to this for weeks but it’s necessary or you will burn your skin)- use with a moisturizer if you’ve never used retinol before so you have a buffer between the product and your skin

I started using this product for the anti-aging benefits several years ago. It’s one of the brands recommended by Shereen Idriss MD who is a board certified dermatologist. One of the reasons that I like it is that the packaging specifies how much of the active ingredient is in the bottle. If you’re new to using Retinols or wanting to make sure you’re getting enough active ingredient to make a difference, that’s a good thing. One of the most important things for getting the benefits is consistent use. I have sensitive skin and it didn’t dry out my skin. I combined it with the L’Oreal retinol cream.
