Amazingly effective, and a great alternative to smelly pain creams
The magnesium content is like rubbing in Epsom salts. It will not alleviate severe pain, but it helps soothe aching and restless muscles when massages aren’t enough, and the pain isn’t enough to warrant a couple of aspirin.A teaspoon at a time will run through this jar quickly enough, but I save it for evenings and nighttime when I don’t want the smell of camphor-menthol creams. Mixing it with a bit of body lotion is best so that it’ll be spread around cost effectively: it doesn’t take a lot on the arms and legs.

But Does It Work for Sleep Quality?
Maybe yes, Maybe no. Maybe it depends. I wanted to know if this magnesium sleep cream is helpful when one is looking to improve the quality of sleep. To that end, I did my usual reliable research. While magnesium cream doesn’t yet have many studies to back up the claim that rubbing this on feet will help, what I did find was interesting—and enough to keep me not just using it but casually recommending it.First, a few facts. Putting this on your feet is good because that is where the largest pores on our bodies are, and this will aid in getting the cream into your system. It works by blocking a receptor that can hinder your sleep and stimulating one that promotes good sleep. Plus it avoids the occasional side effects that oral supplements may cause. However, it does affect your body so it is not a cure-all and you should not expect a miracle.For me, this cream is first and foremost an incredibly lovely, soft, warn, comforting, non-greasy cream. I’d use this a a body lotion all the time would that not prove to be too expensive. It is an absolute delight to touch and rub in. The scent is extremely subtle and also a delight to the senses. Simply put, I adore this as a body cream. While I haven’t yet tried it on my face, though I did on my throat—I am cautious about new products going on my face, especially those made in China—I experienced no allergic symptoms while using it so I believe I will. Because I love the feeling it gives my skin and if it helps with creating a soothing, calming sleep that can only be great.Highly recommended.

Doesn’t feel greasy and absorbs well
This has a nice lavender smell. I usually put this on my neck and shoulder areas before bed. I probably only use about a teaspoon amount as suggested each time and rub it into the skin. This doesn’t leave my skin feel greasy but absorbs well. It is a lot like a lotion and makes my skin feel hydrated. I feel like this helps relax my muscles before bed. Overall I have been happy with this product. I use this about every night and this has lasted a couple months.

Convenient form of magnesium
I’ve been using magnesium oil spray for a while, but kept thinking it would be so much easier in a cream or lotion form. This fits that bill.What I don’t know is if it has as high a concentration of magnesium since it has several other ingredients too. It’s easy to use and has a not too unpleasant scent to it.I can’t vouch for the proposed benefits (sleep, relaxation, etc.) but it doesn’t hurt any, so I’ll keep using it. Oh, it does make for softer skin, like any lotion would.
