A magnesium product that finally isn’t sticky!!
Loving this so far! I frequently have neck & shoulder pain and have always used biofreeze. Wanted to switch to something more natural and I feel like this gives similar results. The scent is amazing and it’s not sticky at all – which is rare for a magnesium product.

Salt Labs Magnesium Muscle Repair Cream is expensive, but I love it. The clove, peppermint, and rosemary essential oils give it a lovely, clean, natural scent. I apply it to sore muscles, hands, and feet before bed, and I drift off to sleep quicker. I wake up more refreshed.

After water, the main ingredient I the Salt Labs Muscle Repair Cream is Magnesium Chloride, a salt most often used in supplement form to boost ones’ dietary intake of magnesium. Magnesium does serve many purposes in the body, including muscle and nerve function, regulating blood pressure and blood sugar levels, a many other functions.The next most abundant ingredient, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, is derived by mixing fatty acids with coconut or palm oil. Although it has antioxidant properties, it’s used mainly in cosmetics as an emollient, and for its skin softening properties. Shea butter is also included in the formulation is shea butter, derived from the nut of the African shea tree, also widely used as a moisturizer in the cosmetics industry.Salt Lab’s Repair Cram, as noted by the seller, also incorporates a number of essential oils, all of which tend to have a soothing menthol-ating effect when applied topically; they are also fragrances that open the nostrils. In fact, I apply a little bit under each nostril for just that result.I am a physically active, athletic person. As such, I end up with sore muscles all the time, in fact, somethings always sore, “but in a good way,” lol. Used as a salve on sore muscles, I can’t say that there’s been any muscle “repair,” not that I’m even sure what that means, but the cream has the soothing effect one would expect from what is essentially a mentholated lotion. The Salt Lab Cream doesn’t leave a greasy fil, however since magnesium chloride is a salt, it does leave a felling similar to dried salt water.I didn’t research all of the ingredients in the Salt Lab formulation, but of those I did I don’t see any evidence that they have a repairing effect on muscles. On the other hand, the Repair Cream has plenty of skin softening emollients, and magnesium. It’s estimated that up to 50% of people in America have a magnesium deficiency. The Salt Lab Cream is a means of supplementing one’s magnesium intact through osmosis, however if one is already supplementing their magnesium, use of the Salt Lab Cream should be taken into consideration.

Basically overpriced massage cream
I didn’t notice a difference pain wise. Maybe it’s one of those subjective things that work for some but not for others. For me it basically ended up being an overpriced massage cream.

I really enjoyed the smell of this. The product goes on well. It isn’t too thick or sticky at all. However I didn’t notice any major changes with my muscle pain. I may need to use it longer to see the effects though.

Salt Lab – disappointing.
It did not work for me. Then I tried to return it & they said it’s not a returnable item. So take warning. I’ve never had this happen before & am pretty disappointed.
