These allowance levels are published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).Other ingredients contained in this product appear to be be safe for consumption in low quantities over long period of time and many, but not all, appear on the GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) List issued by the FDA.Vitamin-C, as Ascorbic Acid, is an essential vitamin that is found concentrated in several citrus products (e.g., oranges and juice), and it is a necessary nutrient to support a variety of processes in the human body. Good low dose vitamin C
This is a very affordable low dose vitamin C supplement. I needed something low dose, since higher doses of vitamin C convert to oxalate in the body and cause various health issues.It’s also really nice that these are tablets, with a score mark, so you can easily break them into smaller doses. I found that I did better with a lower dose than the full tablet.
