Finally – a natural sunscreen that actually feels good to wear!
I can’t tell you how many “natural” sunscreens I’ve tried that either irritated my skin, broke me out, or felt like a thick paste on my face. This is the best one I tried yet!It gives a light, dewy finish without feeling greasy or heavy. Honestly, for an SPF 50 mineral sunscreen, I’m amazed at how nice the finish is. There’s a subtle shine (in a good way!) and absolutely no white cast once it settles.What really sold me are the ingredients-100% organic and mineral-based, with zero harsh UV chemicals. That’s a must for me, especially since I’ve had reactions in the past to chemical sunscreens. I use this all over, but especially love it on my face.Used it on the grandkids during a full day in the sun, and it worked great. No sunburns, no complaints, and they didn’t mind me reapplying (which says a lot!). I’m absolutely in love with this sunscreen and will be buying more!

Love our new Makaio sunscreen!
We recently took our new Makaio sunscreen on our trip to Europe and loved it! Our tube has seen London, Cascais Portugal, Rome and Venice. We agree that Makaio delivers on its promise of clean protection, with a modern, no-white-cast formula that works under makeup and respects the environment. We love that it’s also vegan and reef-safe.

Finally an organic, nontoxic, ocean-friendly sunscreen!
This is the best sunscreen I have come across and only one I will be using from now on. No bad ingredients, all organic, no irritation on my sensitive skin, and nontoxic for the environment. Checks all the boxes for something you want in sunscreen and it protects skin very well! Will be buying again very soon.

This goes on super heavy and greasy. It is so thick. It does lighten up over time, but it is still very sport sunscreen in appearance.I was pretty impressed with the white cast. I’m sure it will be visible on darker skinned people, but as a medium light person, it was barely noticable on me.I don’t have any sensory issues with this so I have no problem using it, but it’s thickness and dry down time means it’s not something I’m going to be using around sand.I would have given it 3 stars but I do like the ingredients so it gets an extra. I think this is a good natural sunscreen, but it performs like one too.

I bought this as a clean alternative Elta MD and CeraVe. Oxitoxate seems to be the culprit that was causing skin irritation and acne. So far so good. No redness after washing off, and so far acne free in my nose and cheek area. Will buy again.
