Seems to be working as it should
Pure Bakuchi oil, which comes from the seeds of the Psoralea corylifolia plant, has been used for centuries in India and throughout the Near and Middle East in hair care products. This bottle is very small, but don’t let that fool you. To use this product correctly, you need to dilute it with either olive or coconut oil by 90%. This means that you use one part bakuchi oil to 9 parts carrier oil.So far, I have noticed a difference with my hair, and the texture is less dry than before. This oil helps keep it moisturized, and the scent isn’t too bad. It’s kind of nutty. All in all, I will have to see how well this does over time.

Makes ~16oz once properly diluted, so don’t forget to order your fav carrier oil with this
This may seem like a tiny bottle initially, but this bottle contains the bakuchiol oil in its undiluted form. Since it has to be diluted at a 9:1 ratio to avoid blistering (use a carrier oil like coconut, olive, jojoba, sweet almond, etc), this tiny bottle actually makes around 450ml, or about 16oz of oil, which is a LOT, and should last quite a long time. However, because it does need to be diluted, it’s hard for me to judge the scent or how hydrating & moisturizing this really is. I do think it’s a bit more hydrating than the carrier oils along, but not in a hugely significant or really noticable way. I’ll keep using it, as the combo seems to be effective for me, and will hopefully see more of a difference with extended use.

A possible natural alternative to Retinol
This is a thin, runnier oil than most. Personally, I like that it’s thinner because it doesn’t feel as heavy on my face as other oils and it blends in easily without leaving a heavy sheen or residue on my skin. That being said, it does take longer than the typical moisturizer for it to absorb and you’ll want to really blend it in. I mixed it with a carrier oil per the instructions (I used vitamin E oil.) As a thinner oil, I found it mixed in with my carrier oil easily and thoroughly. It has a slightly nutty scent which I find pleasant but fades once mixed in with the carrier oil. Bakuchi oil has been called a natural alternative to retinol and anytime I can go natural with my skin care, I consider that a win. I’ve had no issues with breakouts due to clogged pores applying this oil to my face. It leaves my skin feeling soft and protected. The only thing I don’t like about it is the dispenser. It is similar to the dispenser on essential oils. It’s sealed so you have to poke through to open the hole in the center. Once you do, the oil comes out in tiny, tiny drops (like an essential oil) which means it takes forever to get enough oil out to apply. I put this oil in my own bottle with a dropper dispenser instead. Since you need to dilute this oil with a carrier, it worked out well to change the bottle regardless. Other than that, I love the oil itself. And it’s 100% cold pressed pure, undiluted Bakuchi oil making it an excellent value at ~$12, especially since I use so little at a time.

Plant alternative to retinol for smooth skin
I had never heard of Bakuchi Oil before I saw this so I had to look it up. This is what I found “Bakuchiol is known as a plant-based retinol alternative. It is an oil harvested from an Indian plant called babshi and is known to provide many of the same benefits as retinol.” On the label directions it says to be sure to dilute it 9 to 1 with a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil. I had a small bruise on my arm and it has helped to fade it to almost nothing in just a few days. It is an oil so it will be greasy especially so with the coconut or olive oil but all of that is very nourishing for the skin. I only put it on my face at night. It takes a bit of time to completely absorb into the skin so take that into account for your bedtime beauty routine. This is a small bottle but it will last a long time since it has to be diluted so much. My skin feels softer and stays moisturized longer. I use it on my arms and legs too for an overall moisturizing. As a senior over 65, I need a lot of moisturizing!

Great value size undiluted Bakuchi Oil
Cold pressed Bakuchi oil for skin and hair. This oil MUST be diluted as it very potent and could cause skin blistering if used full strength (per the label). The directions recommend basically a 9:1 dilution with a carrier oil such as coconut, olive or almond oil (9 parts carrier oil to 1 part Bakuchi oil). It is a plant alternative to retinol. So this oil is supposed to be great for facial care (anti-wrinkle) and for hair smoothing. I really appreciate that this is a single ingredient oil with no fillers or additives. The scent is earthy and warm. Not unpleasant, but not really my favorite smell, however the smell dissipates soon after application. To be able to use the bottle as a dropper style bottle the center of the sealed plug must be poked through so it can dispense.I think for the price this is a great value and this 50ml bottle would have to be diluted with 450ml carrier oil so this is a very long lasting supply of Bakuchi oil. I think this would be great for making your own wrinkle cream and hair treatment.

Received a 3/4 empty bottle.
No, it didn’t leak. The product was used, the inner plug beneath the cap was intact, and the bottle itself was only 1/4 full.
