I am so sorry to report a negative opinion about this product because the company and its goals are wonderful. I’m a vegetarian who can’t eat soy, so I buy a lot of protein powders like this. Therefore, I’m familiar with them, their appearance, quality, etc. I’m basing this review on about 5 attempts to make a smoothie using a variety of milks – almond, hemp, flaxseed, and coconut. After that, I decided to return the product.The best thing I can say about the protein powder is that it had a good taste and smell. The texture/consistency when made into a smoothie with a powerful blender was chalky. Within 2-4 minutes, it consistently collected into a big glob, soaking up all the liquid. There was none left to drink, which was why I reluctantly decided to submit a review describing what happens.This protein powder is slightly expensive, but I was willing to pay that for the nutrition it offers, as well as the company’s goals. Unfortunately, it isn’t even something that I can “try to” drink because it coagulates and soaks up the smoothie. I want this company to succeed, but this product really needs improvement to be useful. I wish I could give it a more favorable review, but that’s my experience with it.
