Dehydrated Hip and Joint a- ok!
I started using this off and on for the last few years but have recently started using it more often as my older dog seems to despise his newly acquired senior kibble status. I put this in about 1.5-2 cups of hot water and mix about 2-3 tbl with a fork. It dissolves well with no chunks or floaty bits. I use this broth to thoroughly coat his kibble to offset whatever he hates about his senior food. It has so far worked. Regarding the effectiveness of this, I am not too sure. Darby is 118 pound (his vet approved weight) St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix. If i were to use the recommended dosage for his size, I would be buying him a new jar every few days lol I use this as a healthy way to flavor his food, which has been working well. His poo hasn’t changed or anything since using this. As for the smell, it smells like dehydrated broth with some herbs in it. I am unsure what people are expecting it to smell like. Bone broth doesn’t have the greatest smell to begin with if you are not used to it. The smell of turmeric is also noted which might be putting people off, but it smells like what it is. Overall, the product seems good, and I will continue using it. If I had a smaller dog, I would definitely be using it specifically for its health benefits instead of just a flavor enhancer.

This is perfect for my dog who hardly ever drinks water
My guy loves this stuff! My pup is circling the table while I am spooning this on top of his food; he can’t wait to devour his meal. For his size he gets 5 tablespoons each day. I love that it comes in a powder form so I can make enough for a few days’ amount and store it in the refrigerator. Many of the liquid bone broths do not last for more than a few days. For me, knowing he loves it and I am able to add more liquid to his daily routine is a huge plus for us. I have purchased this at least 4 times, it lasts a couple of months.

Works awesome for stinky dogs
Love this broth! I bought it for my dogs as one has UTIs frequently and the other has anal gland issues, this cleared them both up and I no longer have stinky pups!!

It’s good stuff, but the price is stupid
I have two pitbulls and one has a wheat and chicken allergy. which by the way if you have a dog that is constantly licking it’s paws or its legs nonstop please consider chicken as an issue… it literally took me years of frustration to figure that out for my pup… but Its also taken maybe 8 years to find food that works for them both and that they both like and here’s the feeding regiment for anybody that might be in the same boat as me – PetSmart has a brand of food called Hunters Harvest that is pork based and has bacon mixed in with it and is wheat and chicken free, and while I think most versions of food that Petsmart makes is good they both get sick of it after a few days, but this specific one they seem to like even after a year of giving it to them. I give them that in the morning and they like it and they usually eat it, and at night I mix this bone broth in and they love that. And sometimes they seem to get bored of both, I just stop giving them this broth for a week and go back to it, and they eat all their food all over again as if they realized having this is way better than not having it at all. If your dogs are picky as hell like mine are and it’s hard to get them to eat, try the Hunters Harvest from Petsmart and this bone broth combo I’ve had a lot of success with it. I also started out with this giving it to them every meal, which doesn’t work as well because they get sick of it like they do everything else. If you keep it to just one meal every day, it gives them something to look forward to.All that said though, the price on this is outrageous. I don’t understand why companies that make things for dogs charge 20 times more than what things should actually cost. If you don’t believe me, go look at the store what a liter of beef broth (for humans) costs at the store it’s like 2 bucks and I believe that there’s no way this product is even human grade quality, it’s probably like McDonalds grade and should cost a dollar but whatever, the convenience of getting my dogs to eat daily I suppose is worth the price but I’ll still complain about it.

Was expecting yummy beef bone broth but the powder just smells of tumeric . Doesn’t dissolve well . Dog hates it 🙁
