I bought Nature’s Way Maca Root to help with weight gain, and it honestly worked. I take 3 a day and it really boosts my appetite. I’m now eating 3 full meals and snacking in between, which I couldn’t do before. I’ve always struggled with gaining weight, but this is the only thing that’s made a real difference. No side effects at all.Also, my periods have been a lot better lately — less pain, more manageable. Not sure if it’s from the Maca or the raspberry leaf tea I’ve been drinking, but either way, I’ll keep using both. Already buying 2 more bottles!

Worked wonders
I’ve been taking this daily along with Kelp and Selenium. My problem is my thyroid. Sometimes I get bursts of energy where I feel fantastic, I am full of energy, and I love everything. Most of the time, however, no amount of sleep can help, I have to push myself to be happy, and all I want to do is eat. I swear even looking at food makes me gain weight during this time.After about a month I noticed I was able to get out of bed without feeling that horrible fatigue in my bones. I even felt a little bit brighter. The last time I felt this way was when I was living in France. On that thought, I decided to change my diet to mostly organic and whole foods. The food I had while living in Europe wasn’t loaded with the GMOs or pesticides that ours is. I spent the next month in what felt like detox, getting some strange sickness almost every couple of days. Still, every day I had a bit more energy.It’s been three months now. I wake up early without any trouble. I do not need caffeine throughout the day. I am even falling asleep faster and enjoying deeper sleep! My mood has been exceedingly vibrant, my skin is clearer, and I’ve steadily been losing weight.I do believe my hormones were to blame. With the three additional supplements and diet change, I feel better than I have in years. I also love the smell.

Great Product
I am in Perimenopause and I have been having issues with my hormones. Periods are out of whack and I was an emotional rollercoaster. I was always angry and emotional, wanted to escape myself. Read about Maca and figured I would try it, tried everything else. I took my first 500mg pill after dinner the day my shipment came and about an hour later I felt funny….the funny feeling I had was that I wasn’t angry or emotional I felt NORMAL!!!!!!!! I have been on it for only a few days and have not had any hormone related anger/emotional outbursts….!!!!!!I would recommend this to any woman dealing with Peri menopause. I have my son taking it now for his acne, I read it can clear your skin. I will update later IF this works for him or not.

Noticable energy improvement and fixed my heavy irregular cycles
This Maca supplement has helped my energy so much as well as helped balance my hormones. I have always suffered from extremely heavy irregular periods that last 7+ days but after taking Maca my periods only have 1 heavy-ish day and last in total about 4 days which just blows my mind. My cycle is also always on time now so I don’t have to worry about when it’s going to randomly appear like I would have to when it was irregular. One of the best perks of Maca though would have to be the energy it gives you. I’m overweight and a cancer survivor so my energy levels are crap plus I work overnights but since taking Maca I have noticed a definite increase in my energy. I’ve seen a couple other reviews stating that Maca caused them stomach upset…luckily I have not had this issue and I normally have a very sensitive stomach.

In reading most of the reviews for these vitamins, I was hoping my experience would be the same. As with any vitamins, every individuals experience varies because our bodies are all different. Just a little background on me. I am a 30 year old woman who exercises 2-3 times weekly. I eat clean, and take very good care of myself. I am not lacking in any vitamins and all my levels are normal. I was just looking fir something to give me more energy and also wanted to gain 5 lbs. I took 1 vitamin and within a half hour I felt a change in my mood. I was sad and couldn’t shake the feeling. I could barely hold my head up from how sleepy the vitamin made me. The next day I woke up feeling “off” but took another vitamin. I was out cold within half hour. I felt depressed and stayed in bed all day. This is very abnormal for me. I then started doing research. I learned that my being on birth control counteracts with the effect Maca had on me. I also learned Maca may increase my chances of blood clots because I take BC. I am returning this product because it was not for me. I gave 3 stars because I cannot blame Maca vitamins or the seller for my reaction. I blame my birth control. My advice is to do your research if you are on daily meditations.

ALL HAIL MACA ROOT!
This herb is AMAZING. I suffer from irregular menstrual cycles and have since I was 12 years old. I suffered with endometriosis as a teen and I”ve tried almost every type of birth control to fix my issues. However, I can’t take birth control because it makes me extremely ill, so that was a failure. So I began to look into herbs to fix this when I was in my early twenties. I came across vitex and tried it off and on throughout the years but always got frustrated because I’d have all these period symptoms with no actual period other than spotting constantly for two months. I’m almost 27 and having children is in the near future so I want my body to be normal! In Feburary of this year I learned about Maca Root and after extensive research, I gave it a try. I started taking it along with vitex Feburary 13th 2016 and my period came March 17th. IM SO EXCITED. My cramps were non exisitent which are usually out of control and sooooo painful. I’m giving all the credit to maca root and will continue to take it so I can straighten my crazy hormones out! If you’re suffering from irregular menstrual cycles and want to get back on track the natural way, TRY THIS!
