I’ll never use standard bulbs again. This is it.
Great bulb for our boa, Lucy. It’s daylight white and keeps the temp just right. I love that so much heat comes out of this thing and it only pulls 5 watts. it’s wrapped in a metal heat sink so I feel extremely secure about leaving it on unattended. I have a weirdish fear of fire from things like heat bulbs malfunctioning so leaving a 100 watt red hot glass bulb burning over a mesh screen nearly touching a plastic beam makes me want to puke. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have this bulb. It costs only a teeny bit more than standard bulbs, it’s smaller, safer, equally effective, costs much less to operate, and gives me peace of mind while keeping Lucy warm and cozy. I’ll never go back to regular heat bulbs again.

Fantastic build quality!
This is my first LED style, UV-B habitat light.As a result, I’m not sure if all LED habitat lights are made to similar standards. That said…The build quality of this one is fantastic! Roughly 30% smaller than a traditional bulb. It has a crystal clear lens sealed into a solid (looks and feels like aluminum) body. L.E.D. gives off a more gentle light than a UV sun bulb. To the naked eye, more so blue than yellow. Red is not gone from the spectrum yet the tones seem cleaner.Very happy with the product so far. Wish I didn’t wait so long to make the changeover. Excellent value in addition to running on just a few watts. Safe recommendation as an upgrade or replacement. Photos attached.

Great UVB LED Basking Lamp!
Awesome UVB light! Great light for my aquatic turtle! Fits right in to the old basking light socket with no trouble, uses way less power, lights more evenly, is more compact, and should last longer. The quality and function seem great too! Highly Recommended!
