Good food topper for cat
This liver topper is great option for lightening up the pets meals. I have two kittens and use this as toppers between the meals on their wet food. The cats like it and it helps alternating taste for the cats. It seems like it tasted good as the cats like it. Given it made from beef liver which is essential for cats, I would recommend this product.

Our Dog Loves This Stuff
Our dog isn’t a picky eater in general, but being raw fed, getting a good amount of organ meat in him can be difficult at times. Liver is so important in a dog’s diet. It’s like a multivitamin! Having this freeze-dried beef liver/lung meal topper on hand is a great way to get more in him, especially when I’m out of raw. He loves the taste and goes crazy when I even open the jar. I don’t smell anything unless I stick my nose right over the open jar, and then it’s only a mild beefy kind of smell, but he sure picks up the scent quickly from across the room and goes nuts. When a dog is first given organ meat it can cause diarrhea, so start out slow. I love that it’s made from grass fed beef. This gives it a much better nutrient profile. It would be a little pricey to feed this all the time for the organ portion of his diet, although grass fed liver isn’t cheap to buy raw either, but this is a great item to have on hand when you are out of raw.

Healthy and tempts my dogs to eat their dry kibble
Wow, my dogs just love this stuff! I have two small dogs and while one is greedy, overweight and eats all his food immediately, the other is picky and will let his food sit. This is a problem because the greedy dog ends up eating both bowls of food when we are trying to get him to lose weight, or if I pick the bowl up and try to get the other dog to eat it later, the food gets stale and then he won eat it and I end up throwing it away, which is money down the drain. This dog food topper made of freeze-dried beef liver and beef lung solves the problem, because once I sprinkle a little bit of it on their kibble, both dogs gobble up their food up immediately.My dogs go crazy for this stuff. I’ll admit dried beef lung and liver sounded kind of gross to me, but now that I’ve been using this I can say it is a very clean, dry powder and it is not yucky or smelly, though it does have a beefy odor that is neither strong nor offensive. It comes in a neat and tidy little plastic jar with a screw-on lid, and a little scoop is even included. It is so easy to sprinkle it on; I don’t even have to crumble it like some other freeze-dried toppers I’ve tried. I only need to sprinkle on a little to motivate my dogs to eat their kibble, so this jar will last a long time. The label has guidance on the amount to give dogs based on their weight, but of course you can use your own discretion and possibly use less to make it last longer.Overall, I really like giving this healthy treat to my dogs because it is made of only beef liver and beef lung; there are no fillers or chemicals. My dogs love this stuff and it solves our feeding schedule problems, and at the same time makes our dogs so happy and gives them what they think is a treat, but is also a dose of healthy vitamins and minerals from the beef lung and liver.

Both my Maltese pup and my 3 cats go crazy for this beef liver food topper!I sprinkle about a tablespoon over their meals, and the fine, powdery texture is perfect—no hard chunks to worry about. It smells exactly like fresh beef liver and adds a natural protein boost to their diet.I originally got it because my Maltese is a picky eater, but since he loves beef liver treats, I figured this would be a win—and I was right! Now there are no more stubborn, pampered pooch moments where he waits to be hand-fed, even though he already gets homemade, all-natural meals.Only downside—my container didn’t come with the scooper that was advertised.Still, it’s a great value, comes in a nice reusable container, and I’ll definitely be reordering.
