Design Is A Little Off But Still Of Use
I use scent inhalers and aroma therapy a lot. Like to use the “mister” concentrates as opposed to oils since I can control the quantity and I think the mister aromas are more pleasant for me. I thought these fillable inhalers would be great but they come up a little lacking IMO. Mainly I don’t like the size of the inhaler portion that you put closest to your nose. It is a little large compared to specific scent inhalers you can buy (the disposable ones that have either specific scents like eucalyptus/lavender). The inhaler piece is metal with holes that allows the “wick” that is soaked in the oil to pass through. Just does not allow enough scent to pass through. The device works like a candle with a wick that soaks in the oil in the reservoir with a portion of the cotton wick exposed into the inhaler portion. The wick basically soaks up the oil and passes it up into the inhaler portion. You can see that the oil is soaking in well, but just does not allow enough scent to pass through IMO. It is a good quality device with well fitting cap, high quality components and very nice look. Just wish it allowed more scent to be given off. I tried multiple oils (direct essentials, mist-type sprays) that are concentrated and work well in other applications but have trouble in this. I will keep trying other types of scent to see if that helps since I really like the ability to use and fill my own.

Easy to use and works well
I added a few drops of oil to one of these wicks a few months ago, and the scent is till there! It’s maybe a little diminished, but the inner glass container and tightly-sealed outer aluminum case work to seal the oil in better than I expected. They’re also pretty and portable–about the size of a tube of lipstick. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the company’s logo printed on the inhaler. It makes them look like something used as a promo item– like those pens drug reps hand out. It’s not terrible, though.

These are outstanding. They feel and look high end. Metal outside is durable and beautiful and the glass inside is great because the ones that are plastic interior run this risk of making the EO a toxic oil for aromatherapy. Don’t go cheap on something like this, you want to maintain the integrity of you EO, remember that is going into your entire body composition so you want your Oils pure. I wish Plant Therapy sold a set of 10 of these in various colors to make it easier to know which scent your picking up to use. I only use these inhalers because I have cats which do not handle EO very well, this way I can smell right close to my nose with no concerns for my cats smelling my EO. I love these and Plant Therapy EO. Definitely pure and quality!

Good option for customized oil inhalation
These work great for using a customized essential oil inhaler. My daughter was having issues with feeling shortness of breath during her basketball season. We applied an oil to promote breathing to these and she would sniff them on the sideline when she wasn’t playing. Definitely helped her – and she didn’t end up needing an inhaler.
