Best Peppermint Oil I’ve Found!!
Plant Therapy’s oils are the real deal! Before I found their products, I wasted a whole lot of money trying to find a high quality peppermint oil I could use. I wanted one that was totally pure, providing a long lasting, strong scent that would work for my purpose. I’ll admit my purpose is rather unusual; I live in a rural area with lots of critters, and I use it as a natural, safe and very effective rodent repellent, for mice, chipmunks, squirrels and it even seems to be effective with some pesky snakes that like to hang out sunning themselves on my stone steps and walkways. If the peppermint oil is the least bit watered down or in any way diluted in its purity, the odor will not be nearly pungent or long lasting enough to deter them. I love that Plant Therapy sells it in the 3.3oz quantity, because the typical tiny bottles wouldn’t be nearly enough since I use it in so many applications: in my RV to keep mice out, in my tractor engines and car engine where the mice and red squirrels like to build nests on warm engines, and then proceed to munch on the wire coverings which may contain soybean by-products often used in newer vehicles, which evidently are very tasty for them! I learned that the hard way with an $800.00 repair on my SUV’s electrical harness, the squirrels chewed the coverings off every single wire!!I know most people use the oil as a calming scent, or for their skin, etc., but if you have the same issue as I do with various rodents, here are a couple of tips for you: Do not put droplets directly on the counters or in the drawers of your RV, nor directly on engine parts, etc., if it is quality oil, it will be sticky, then gooey, and eventually dry quite hard and be a pain to clean up. I first tried putting a few drops on small cardboard squares, cotton balls etc. but when the smell eventually weakens due to evaporation, which it will depending on where it is, the critters are thankful for the nesting materials. Not good. So, my current methodology is to save small plastic, metal or glass containers that have a top you can punch a few holes in, or better yet, have existing holes, (an old salt or pepper shaker, my favorite; old herb & spice bottles that have the shaker holes under the cap) Apply 3-4 drops of the oil on a cotton ball, place it inside the container and the close the shaker top and the open holes allow the odor to waft out in the surrounding area, and the strong scent lasts longer by being enclosed. Check your containers every so often and if the scent has diminished, apply 3-4 additional drops on the same cotton ball. I have a few in my RV that are so soaked, I haven’t had to add oil for months. In the summer, I use a $10.00 diffuser I bought on Amazon and I fill it with the water and 4-5 drops of the Peppermint oil maybe every two weeks. It doesn’t need to run all the time; when the scent gets weak, fire up the diffuser. Bottom line: whether you are using it for a calming aroma, or the opposite end of the spectrum, like me, it is the very best Peppermint oil I have found, and believe me, the search has been extensive!! Thanks Plant Therapy!

Favorite mint essential oil
I have tried other brands but this is my favorite. Other brands can be more earthy. This brand is very minty and has a sweet mint smell to it. My whole family loves it, I won’t buy any other brand after using Plant Therapy Oils. Good value compared to MLM essential oil brands.

Plant Therapy is REAL oil
There are so many fakes out there, and regulation on what you need to call something an essential oil is practically non-existent. From third-party testing, Plant Therapy is actually what it claims to be–pure oils. They are the best value proposition for that, they provide the most oils (which are real oils) for the cheapest amount of money. The peppermint oil is fabulous for several things. It clears out bad scents really well, and it also can help stimulate and keep people awake. We’ve been using it to try and deter some opposoms under our house since they’ve been giving our cats fleas, and we’ve seen them less and less. Love this brand, have had great experiences with them.

Doesn’t smell like vanilla
I bought this blend because my mom will only wear the scent of warm vanilla/sugar. She only wears synthetic fragrances and I want to get her away from that. I was planning on making her a oil roller to replace her perfume. Although the smell is pleasant, it smells nothing like vanilla. It smells a lot like the jasmine flower in my opinion. I’ll wear it myself, but my mom will not wear it so I am disappointed by that.

Great for brushing teeth
Been brushing my teeth with this, mixed with either baking soda or calcium powder. Good way to have natural toothpaste, much cheaper than the remixed stuff. I just mix a little in the palm of my hand every morning, only takes seconds to do and I swear the calcium powder heals and cavities as they start.

Starting to love PT Brand
I have always been leery about buying EO’s from Amazon because you just never know what you are getting. I had a favorite YL (Jade Lemon) and the last bottle I received had a chemical smell to it whereas my previous bottle didn’t. I used to add a drop to my water but after smelling it, I refused and will never buy from them again. Goes to show YL and the like are NOT as pure as they claim to be – no wonder considering they keep chemists on staff. NOW brand has tanked as well. They were always decent for a cheaper brand. I have had a bottle of Jasmine absolute from them for 2+ years now and it actually smells like Jasmine. I am finally getting low so I tried to pick up another bottle at the local health food store and it didn’t even resemble Jasmine but was pure chemical. Same for their rose, tea tree and many others I smelled while I was there.Anyway, Plant Therapy has always had decent reviews and I was looking for something that wasn’t astronomically priced so I gave them a shot. I have ordered probably 10 bottles between roller blends and pure EO’s and so far, I have ZERO complaints about quality. No chemical smells at all. My only complaint is that they put ylang ylang in many of their blends that would be otherwise useful for me but the scent is so overpowering (and a nasty sickly sweet smell imo), I won’t buy the blend again. No matter though because I can just do what I have done for years and buy the singles and blend my own.

Eucalyptus oil
This product is of excellent quality. It feels refreshing in the diffuser, and I also apply it when I have headaches—it helps me a lot. I truly recommend it

Examples Of How I Use It:1) Mouth WashMakes an incredibly-effective rinse for mouth infections. Still have my wisdom teeth so used to get gum infections fairly regularly until I started rinsing with this (3-5 drops) and a little water to nip them in the bud. Haven’t had any auch infection set in in years.2) Rash OintmentRecently rubbed it into skin a few times to get rid of a pretty annoying foot rash that lasted over a week before I thought to do so. Pretty immediate relief and everything cleared up in 2-3 days.3) Natural DeodorantIt’s part of my DIY deodorant (along with apple cider vinegar and a few other essential oils like tee tree and lavender).4) Cold RemedyThis is not the intended use, so try at your own risk – but I also even ingest 3-5 drops with water when I feel my immune system fighting something.

I love this stuff. Sometimes I find lavender smells to be too overpowering or too floral but this one is just lovely. I use lavender for cystic acne and for muscle pain relief, not usually to enjoy the smell, but I actually enjoy the smell of this. It’s also such a convenient little roller. I will just dab it on a spot when I start to break out..so easy. I’m not sure how it would work for muscle pain relief as it’s small and might be difficult to spread the oil on a larger area but we will see. If it doesn’t work for that then I will be ordering the pure oil of lavender from Plant Therapy.

I love anything vanilla but this smelled indescribable like a mix between rubber and paint thinner so I put it aside for a month then came back to it and nope, just had to throw it out. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or if my expectations of it smelling remotely vanillaish were too high. I ordered a citrus mix pack of EO so it hasn’t turned me off the company entirely (I like to give a second chance). We’ll see what these smell like when I receive them.
