I bought this Premier Protein 8 Flavor Variety Pack for my teenage son, who’s a multi-sport athlete and needs more protein than what kids’ shakes like Orgain or Carnation provide. He’s also very picky, so finding something he’ll actually drink—and that I can subscribe to on Amazon—has been a bit of a challenge.This variety pack was perfect for testing the waters. His top pick? Peaches and Cream, with Banana close behind. He did enjoy all the flavors he tried (surprisingly). I love Premier Protein drinks!
I’m a bariatric patient. I’m in the week before surgery stage. My doctor put me on a mandatory liquid diet prior to surgery. I chose Premier Protein drinks because they had a big variety of flavors and are high in protein. I’ll start with what I do not like about the protein drinks. They are sweetened with sucralose (Splenda). Most people will not mind this. I don’t care for sugar substitutes because of the after taste. Some of the Premier Protein drinks have a pronounced after taste. The drinks are so good, I can tolerate the after taste. The drinks come in so many flavors! I like the Oatmeal Protein drinks. They have 20 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. The regular protein drinks have 30 grams of protein. Premier Protein drinks have more protein than most other drinks.Since I’m on a liquid diet for seven days, I can tell you these smooth, tasty drinks keep me feeling full. I’m supposed to take in 87 grams of protein a day. The high protein content in each drink makes it easy to get my proper intake. Now, if only I could get 100 ounces of water in me that easy. The drinks are smooth and creamy. I like them chilled or room temperature. They are tasty either way. If you want a treat, get the chocolate flavor, freeze it and have ice cream. You have an ice cream with 30 grams of protein and 160 calories. My favorite flavor is strawberry banana. Buy a variety pack so you can sample the different flavors.Ive read in other reviews where people are complaining that the Premier Protein drinks are pricey. They average out to almost $2.00 a drink. A fast food meal cost far more than Premier Protein drink.The drinks keep me full. I’ve been on this liquid diet for 3 days now. I haven’t been tempted to cheat. I’ve lost 4 pounds on my liquid diet. I’m going to be relying on Premier Protein drinks for awhile. I’m not feeling hungry or deprived. Like I said earlier, I enjoy the drinks. My least favorite on is salted caramel. I just don’t care for the flavor. The drink is smooth and the chocolate flavor reminds me of a Yoo-hoo drink. That’s the best comparison I can come up with. I can strongly recommend Premier Protein drinks.

Smooth and Tasty, but some Flavors taste the same
Very tasty shakes. I found the consistency very smooth and appealing four stars because, Try as I might, I could not really tell the difference in taste between Peaches and Cream, Strawberries and Crema and Vanilla. The Chocolate, Cafe Latte, and Caramel are excellent.

This variety is great.
I have always ordered just the chocolate, but these other flavors are exceptional. I really like the banana, the cookies and cream, the caramel, the strawberry, the latte and the peaches, heck, I like them all. I use these as a snack but sometimes I use them for my dinner. Highly recommend.

This cost a bit more as you only get 8 shakes but it has been a great way for me to see which flavors I liked the most for future purchases. They are are surprising quite good! I’m glad I had a chance to try so many flavors in this way. Yum!

Great flavor, but too expensive
Too expensive. I knew it was a variety pack, but didn’t realize it was just one of each flavor. It’s ok to try them all, but wouldn’t buy again.

Coffee one was delicious
Loved it!!! Favorite one was the coffee one. Won’t be getting more now due to price, will try a different brand but once I see on sale will get for sure 🙂
