Perfect for that BM
My grandma recommended me this powder 1) for its digestive purposes 2) for its great nutritional value. And let me tell you, boy did it deliver. I got a heaping spoonful (which I don’t recommend) and mixed it in with some water and drank it. I’m warning you the taste is absolutely disgusting. So I recommend mixing the powder into something that has a potent flavor like a juice and chugging it as fast as you can. However, once I managed to drink the powder, I could feel my stomach rumbling and making weird noises. Within 5 hours I had to go number 2 sooo bad. So if you’re someone that gets constipated easily like me I think this is a great product, it’s worked faster than Metamucil, aloevera gel, and prunes. However, I think this should be taken right before bed and not during the day because your BM will disrupt your day. And definitely only take the recommended amount, or even less your first time just to test it out.

Taste is Clean and Green
Taste is clean with a slightly grassy texture. Not bad. Seems to help reduce inflammation. I drink mine in the morning mixed with apple cider vinegar, water, and lemon juice as a cocktail to help reduce my blood sugar. One of these days I’ll check my numbers and see what it does.

The closest thing I’ve found to raw moringa!
I’ve been taking moringa for awhile now and I can definitely say that it lives up to its name as the “miracle tree.” I’ve had the chance to eat raw moringa in the countries where it grows naturally so I know the taste and color, as well as the natural head buzz you’re supposed to get after eating FRESH moringa. That being said I’ve been on the hunt for the best moringa powder here in the states. I’ve tried about a half dozen different brands on Amazon and it is pretty astonishing how different they all are. Some taste horrible, but make me feel good. Some are bright green, but don’t have an effect on me at all. Sadly some are even brown, taste bad, and make me think it’s not even moringa. I’m happy to say that I’ve finally found the closest thing to pure raw moringa that I saw on my travels. Pura Vida says that they source from a farm at the base of a volcano and that their leaves are handpicked… I have to believe them because the taste is amazingly close to fresh, raw moringa (please keep in mind, raw moringa is not the tastiest thing in the world, imagine a wheat grass and broccoli mix). I also feel great within minutes after taking it. I was buying their pill form for awhile, not aware that they had a powder form. Now that I found their moringa powder, I will be keeping both on hand at all times now: pills for when I’m on the go and the powder for my morning superfood shakes. There are tons of moringa products on the market and it can be overwhelming deciding which one to choose, but I know that cheap moringa is likely to be full of ground up stems and branches and moringa from India or Africa is likely not organic even when they say it is. I’ve found that a good rule of thumb is always “you get what you pay for.” I cannot recommend Pura Vida moringa powder enough!

Tastes awful!
I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and have not noticed any difference. The taste is awful! It has a definite grass/farm taste. Gagging at first. Now stirring in about 1/4 c coffee to gulp down. It doesn’t mix well. I would recommend a capsule to avoid taste and mixing.
