Is there anything Almond Oil can’t do?
Anything with chemicals, either naturally occurring or otherwise, that comes in contact with my skin comes with the possibility of a reaction of some sort.Almond Oil has made everything easier. Everything. I use it for all things skin related. It actually clears my pores (I use it with sea salt to wash my face). It fights dry skin and contact dermatitis without any steroids or thick emollients (which make you feel greasy or sweaty, especially if you’re in a particularly humid climate). I think it might absorb better than my skin’s natural oil, probably due to it’s purity and lack of over- processing.I use it as personal lubricant, because it never becomes sticky and doesn’t effect pH levels, but the consistent and natural moisture provides a barrier against odor- causing bacteria… and it’s edible, flavorless, and safe for use with silicone.It keeps my scalp free of dandruff, and I rarely have problems with split ends, but it’s a great leave-in conditioner, as well, and takes fly-aways without weighing down my hair (which is thick, fine, and strawberry blonde- so it very easily can be too oily or too dry. )I even use it to grill steak, bake brownies when I want them extra moist, and oil frozen locks and squeaky door hinges.If I haven’t replaced every other oil or moisturizer in my house yet, it’s only because they don’t sell it on tap yet.Try it. You won’t waste your money, because you’ll find something it does better than whatever else you’re using.

I am obsessed with this beauty oil!Let’s talk about how I use this item to grow longer thicker hair. I’ve been on my hair health journey for 6 months now, and this item is essential to my routine!Microneedling your scalp, creates microscopic wounds in the scalp, to regenerate the health of the hair follicles. This can result in new hair growth and can thicken thinning hair as seen in androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness.I use the Koi Beauty derma stamp and set the needle dept to .7. It doesn’t hurt so don’t be scared to try!I mix the following items in a bottle to create my hair oil and concoction:.5oz organic castor oil1oz organic pumpkin seed oil1oz organic jojoba oil1oz organic almond oil1 dropper rosemary oil (optional)I apply the hair oil all over my scalp and through the ends of my hair. I then cover my hair with a disposable cap. I cover my pillow with a towel, and sleep with the oil in my hair overnight so that it can marinate. UPDATED: PUMP LEAKS! (This oil is great! Highly recommend!)
UPDATE (NOV. 2019): I’ve been using this oil daily since received and still love it. However, the pump on the bottle is awful and leaks oil all over the place. I had kept this on my nightstand and yesterday I woke up to find the whole top of nightstand covered in oil. There are no cracks on the bottle itself but the pump top/lip seems to be leaking by itself. Will switch to the regular closed lid included but being able to pump it was such a convenient feature and I’m so disappointed in the pump’s design flaw making it leak all over.Note to Seller: Please fix this ASAP!Original:After my research for safe baby products, I bought this to use for my baby’s massage but it feels so good, I am using it more on myself for my extremely dry skin. My hands tend to crack, peel and blister during dry winters and this stuff helps keep them soft. I even use it on my face without any issues. Never used any almond oil before so I don’t have another brand to compare it to but I love how this is pure & natural without any harsh chemicals and feels so light on your skin. It is super absorbent and does not feel sticky at all. It also came with 3 types of lids so you can choose how you want to pump or pour it which I felt was very thoughtful. Will totally buy this again when I run out. For anyone with babies, I highly recommend this over any of the “baby oils” that are marketed as such. This is a much safer, more natural alternative.

I use this oil as a daily moisturizer; it soaks right in. It isn’t greasy, and it immediately makes the skin feel moisturized. The bottle lasts me four to six months. I love that it comes with a pour spout or an option for a pump. I’ve been using this product regularly for several years, and it’s a nice, natural body care option. It’s a good deal; it may seem pricey, but it offers a generous quantity and will last a long time. I prefer using this product over lotion.

There is nothing mentioned on the pack about it being hexane free. It sure goes through a chemical treatment process to remove the odour and colour making it lightweight. I was looking for pure cold pressed almond oil as a body moisturiser. But the pack even stated that it is advised to consult a medical practitioner before using in case of pregnancy. This is very strange.
