LOVE LOVE LOVE!I had a scar on my face from trying to remove a mole years and years ago when I was young. I had tried so many things and nothing worked. This worked in 3 months my scar is nearly gone (first pic is how it started. Started off well, then product failure
The first 6 weeks that I used this silicone scar gel, I would have rated it a 4 or 5. However, after 6 weeks, the gel had a tendency to turn brown on my face instead of clear, which is very noticeable (see the brown color around the cap in the picture). Also, it is no longer a gel – now it is more like a slightly thick liquid so the product coverage of my scar area is thinner. I was happy with the ingredients – silicone and Allantoin – which are both beneficial for scar repair. It dries fairly quickly and does not brush off on your hands. The shelf life is 3 years, according to the package; but, unfortunately, 2 5/6 years of that time, it will be noticeably brown. The return period has passed, so I hope this company chooses to replace this product and hopefully, this is just an unfortunate occurrence. I hope that the changes in the product color and consistency are not harmful. I will update if the company stands behind their product.UPDATE: I contacted the company yesterday asking for a replacement since the product has passed the return date. They actually went one step further and began the refund process. Good Job!
