Hydrating and very nice fragrance
The butter has very good hydrating/moisturizing properties. I use organic body butters made with shea and cocoa butter plus carrier oils and I find the Sol de Janeiro Delicia body butter comparable to those butters. I am skeptical of the claims that it instantly resolves the problem of dry skin in the heels and elbows but then I still have to find a body butter or product that resolves that problem for me. I love the fragrance. I do not find it ‘cheap’ at all and it is more sophisticated than the fragrances usually found in the $6 or $10 drug store butters/lotions. In the container the butter smells exactly as stated in the description of the product. Of course once the butter is applied to the skin the fragrance changes and adapts to the body chemistry as well as the environment. I live in hot and humid south Florida, every fragrance that I apply to my skin smells sweeter eventually. I really like how this butter smells on me even when I sweat under the sun in my hot and humid environment. The fragrance changes when worn outside in the heat but it still remains very pleasant, it does not ‘degrade’ in quality or sophistication. It layers well with my favorite perfumes. As per the intensity, I do not find the fragrance overpowering at all but it stays on the skin and the clothing and the bed sheets like a parfume does. I love that too. Application goes very smooth for me, like shown in the ad. It is expensive. It will not last me long because I use a lot of body butter on my skin after the shower at least twice a day. $50 for the bigger jar is a better value but still expensive.

This is much more “butter” consistency than the 62 which is a thinner consistency. Both are incredible! I prefer the scent and consistency of the 59 to the 62 though. I initially got hooked on 62 and purchased the lotion to try out new scents from the line. 59 (the purple one) is incredibly thick, heavy, and has a light floral almost a hint of light French lavender and peony scent (it is light and petite). 62 is a slightly thinner, creamy and rich vanilla nutty scent (very tan gleaming beach goddess). Both moisturize like a mf’er. I use after the shower and it is slightly slimy still for a while on the legs but I like that and not greasy slimy at all. Only quip is price but damnit if I don’t keep buying this brand over any other body care line. I own pretty much every single thing this line sells. All great (deo is meh but I keep using it to keep my scents all lined up)

This body butter is just want I was looking for. I wanted a nice evening/after shower scent. This smells so good. I love the soft but very present scent. I purchased the smallest container just in case. I’m looking forward to purchasing the largest container next time. This scent makes me feel so good to be a women. My skin has a soft glow to it after applying the cool butter. It’s smooth and feels good on my skin. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Favorite
I generally love all of their body products because they smell amazing AND don’t do anything weird to my super sensitive skin (nearly impossible with scented lotions/creams). I’ve tried each of the variants of these jars (orange, pink, red) and this one is by far my favorite! The “body butter” tag threw me for a loop, especially in the hot summer, so I avoided it for a while but it is very “whipped” and absorbs so quickly (not my typical experience with butters)! Also, as I’ve gotten older (hello late 30s) my legs have a tendency to look dehydrated all over again within a few hours of applying lotion but not so with this one! It isn’t sticky or sweaty at all, I am obsessed!

Luxurious feel
This is my forever favorite scent. I usually buy it at Sephora but thought it was convenient to buy here. This feels so luxurious on my skin it’s a nice thicker cream that doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy. My only issue is the scent is not as strong as it usually is which made me wonder if I bought it at a the retailer or not but it says it is. Either way I’m happy with the size and price .

J’avais reçu cette crème en cadeau. Je suis trop contente d’avoir pu la racheter. Elle est géniale. La texture est particulière : un peu comme de la pâte consistante qui fond dès qu’on l’applique sur notre peau. C’est très agréable car pas du tout gras. Elle hydrate de ouf ! Je craignais que l’odeur me gêne car je suis hyper sensible (je déteste les odeurs synthétiques) et en fait, l’odeur est vraiment agréable. Je ne vais pas vous le cacher, elle a vraiment une signature olfactive affirmée (qui parfume vos vêtements portés à même la peau) mais c’est super sympa ; en particulier pour la belle saison (ça fait un peu odeur de plage et fiesta) – Vivement les vacances ! ☀️😎🩴🌴En attendant, je mets ma crème Ah Ah
