I have alopecia and read that zinc is often a deficiency that goes along with that, and that taking a zinc supplement may help with hair growth. Haven’t been taking it long enough yet to notice a difference, but even if it doesn’t help with that, I know it’s a good supplement that cannot hurt to take regardless. I was recommended to get it because of my flaking nails and a hair condition.Also it is well known to lower down the BP.After one week of intake (in the morning for the empty stomach 30 min before the meal),I’ve noticed that my nails are getting much healthier look: they became shiny, stopped flaking and began to grow faster.I didn’t notice BP going lower yet, so I am still takin my BP medications.But just for the healthy nail I could recommend.I was told it should be taken once a day during two months period with a break for two or three months afterto exclude copper deficiency in the body.
