Regular maca is good, but Maca Extreme packs a punch – keeps me going on stressful days, and helps me to have more pep at the gym and elsewhere A little goes a long ways, so a teaspoon for half-tablespoon is just fine, but it’s hard to resist adding a bit more. Like all maca products, it’s a bit tricky to get it to dissolve in a beverage form, but at a moderately warm temperature it seems to do just fine.

Awful migraine/headache for hours..did NOT work for me
Please understand this is only my experience with this and others may have success with it. A lady at Sprouts grocery store told my sister people with endometriosis have had great success with this so I ordered some. I took it and within 10 minutes had one of the worst migraines/headaches I have ever had (I should also add that I rarely ever get headaches and I don’t get migraines) It took my down the entire day not even an excedrine helped. Finally around 7:00 it started to subside and I was able to get some relief. I then read other reviews that stated headache was a side effect for them as well. I still could feel it even the next day. If you are going to take this I would say do your research. People with endometriosis have extra estrogen and this gives you more estrogen which is not a good thing. Again, depends on you and your body. I would work with a functional medicine Dr or a naturopath before trying supplements like this. Even though things are natural or work for someone else doesn’t mean it’s good for your body & what your body needs. Lesson learned the hard way. 🙁
