I purchased this Sunlit Best USDA Organic Premium Chlorella Tablet because I have to have frequent MRIs with a heavy metal contrast that can build up over time in the body. After researching natural ways to chelate heavy metals from the body , Chlorella kept coming up in many websites. I wanted something organic and non GMO and like to support small businesses. Currently I am on my second bag and without a blood test it’s too early to know if it is effective in chelating yet but these tablets are so much easier to ingest than the powders I previously used and I seem to be sleeping a bit better, probably because of the magnesium. The tablets can be swallowed or chewed and do not taste bad. Chlorella is also said to support immunity as well as having other health benefits.

Irregularity on Package Labeling – DOSING MADE ME SICK
I was taking 3 grams daily of my old brand and decided to try this brand. It clearly says on the Supplement Facts panel that 20 tablets equal 3 g. So I took 20 per day. I started having stomach-gut issues. I DID THE MATH. The front clearly shows 1000 tablets, net wt 250g and 100 % Chlorella.SOOO I calculated this to be 250 mg per tablet ( package wt=250 g = 250,000 mg divided by 1000 tablets = 250 mg per tablet).Soooo if I want to take 3 g (3000 mg) I would need to take 12 tablets. (3000 mg divided by 250 mg per tab). AND THE 20 TABLETS LISTED AS 3 G IS ACTUALLY 5 GRAMS. Nearly double my old dose – And it made me sick!If 20 tablets were actually 3g there would need to be 1666 tablets in the bag to get to the package wt of 250 g.I have stopped taking it for now, per my clinic visit about the gut issues (this was my only diet change). Eventually, I will try a few and work up to 12 tablets, which I calculate to be 3 g, which is normally recommended as a “serving”.I emailed the customer care address on the back of the package weeks ago and still have had no response.This is worrisome as people rely on the supplement facts to be accurate and I would normally have expected a quick reply. I liked the taste and smell and the fact it was organic and from Taiwan. And I think it is a good product, but……
