I love this stuff- been using it for years!
I love this stuff- I’ve been using it for years as a daily face wash and it’s amazing. I never have dead skin buildup (I am told that I look younger than my actual age quite often!) and it really helps when I get breakouts during my cycle. Bonus- leave it on overnight on pimples. It really helps dry them out and they heal faster. The tea tree in it is great for that!

Amazing natural product for painful, deep acne + folks with skin allergies
This stuff is seriously AMAZING. Let me preface by saying I am an early-20something trans man and over a year on Testosterone so my cystic hormonal acne is.. BAD bad. I decided to try this stuff out because the cheapo BiMart stuff I was getting just wasn’t touching it, but one use in I’m already obsessed. Even for a mint + tea tree based product I was a little alarmed by how much it tingled, but I swear I feel like this stuff washed an entire layer of dead skin and just general nastiness off my face, and after a wash the two massive, cystic zits I currently have were leagues less red, inflamed and fussy. It’s also really smooth and a lot goes a long way, I only use a little more than a pea-sized dollop and it really cleanses my whole face, so this bottle should last you a hot minute. Super worth it and super cheap for such a great product! I also have incredibly, unbelievably sensitive skin and allergies to just about everything under the sun (metals, dyes, synthetic fragrances, the whole shebang) so this is a great all-natural product that smells amazing using only natural oils for scent+benefit, so between that and the way it gently scrubs and tingles the living hell out of my deep, painful acne, this is a 10/10 would reccomend product for sure!

This stuff is AMAZING for diabetics
Most of the diabetics (self included) that I know have skin issues with wounds not healing, acne, etc. I tried this the night I got it and the smell, the exfoliation, the gentleness were more than I expected. I will definitely order again. I guess it’s the Tea Tree Oil in the product – but it’s tingly, refreshing, and it has made a HUGE difference in my skin wounds in three days – they’re almost healed! Seriously. This is good stuff. It’s black, which is kind of unusual, but that must be the charcoal. I hope there’s a larger size. I got the small size because I wanted to try it out first. Now I wish I had the larger size. Use it sparingly on your face. It’s gentle, but very effective. On my arms and legs, I used it every day. I use it every other day on my face. It will CLEAN better than anything you might have tried. I just used my fingers to rub it in because I wanted to see how “gritty” it was. Does not FEEL gritty – or about as gritty as toothpaste. No roughness…just a gentle tingling to let you know it’s working.

Great Scrub with one Suggestion
This is a great scrub ~ I like to wash my feet before bed, and this is the best scrub to exfoliate feet which accumulate calluses quite easily and experience daily sweat in shoes. But as a suggestion, I would simply add that with all of the wonderful fresh ingredients that are so good for the body, natural and soothing, that TheraTree go back to the drawing board to reformulate to a more “clean-rinsing” scrub. Maybe everyone else is fine with this, but I wasn’t. The amount of rinsing action required to get this stuff off uses a lot of water. This isn’t a mud in a tube, per se, but it is heavy and it doesn’t rinse off easily, possibly because of some of the oils. So I always know that I will need to rinse several times and rinse again under the tap, grab a wash cloth and continue to work the small pieces off of the skin to ensure there is nothing left. Often, there is residue left in the tub. That’s really the only thing I didn’t like about the scrub. An easier rinsing scrub would be greener, and better for ease of use. Right now, it’s laborious to get it off. Even so with towel drying my feet, I’m not sure I got everything off because the scrub clings a lot, needs to be worked off of the skin with the hands, eventually using a wash cloth to continue to wipe it off, etc. So my suggestion is to study other scrubs, figure out the ones that rinse cleanly and efficiently, and see if you can add that into your formula. Then you’ll have a 5-star product. Until then, I will only use it occasionally because the rinsing action of the product requires so much work. I think further testing to this degree would have been helpful.

Oily skin + diatomaceous earth = beautiful skin.Silver bullets in health and beauty are rare. TheraTree has made one. Their tea tree scrub has been a lifesaver to reduce blocked pores and oily skin problems. Horrible, humid summers with a desk job and leather car seats do a number on my back. I was getting frankly embarrassed, and then the magic black scrub came into my life. It’s been night and day in controlling my oily complexion.Coming out of the bottle, the scrub looks like saturated volcanic sand. Don’t be deceived, the texture is quite even and smooth. Taking a generous amount, polish the scrub into well-cleaned skin and then give yourself at least 5 minutes to bake. You’ll know it works when you feel that eucalyptus-like chill that comes with VapoRub. I live for that sensation that sends a shiver down my spine and leaves my back taut, clean, and smooth as day. Absolutely no oily residue is left behind, nor a gritty feeling once the product is rinsed off. The scent is also so very green and woodsy.After a month of use every other day, I’ve seen fantastic results. No more spots or blemishes, and definite improvement on oil control. I find alcohol-based products and acne soaps far too harsh, stripping the oils and making my skin worse. Not so this. Tea tree oil does wonders without causing any reactions.I’ve encountered no problems in the bathtub or sink using this product, either. Some of those ingredients might sound like they could clog things up, but they won’t.
