Highly recommend this batana-oil/biotin hair-/scalp-scrub! Great value!
A friend recommended this product to me: tea-trea scented scalp scrub with batana oil and biotin, for the scalp and hair. As I’ve aged, my scalp has changed, becoming dry, flaky, just a mess. This scalp treatment is similar to a facial scrub but for the scalp. It is a deep-cleansing hair/scalp scrub with natural exfoliants and with nourishing batana oil (I highly recommend that you do some research on batana oil and its healing benefits). This scrub is great for hair, especially if you’re trying to grow it. It gives your scalp the proper, healthy environment to flourish and grow. So far, although I love the pleasant tea-trea scent, I personally haven’t used the item long enough to assess its efficacy – but my friend swears by it! I have noticed that my scalp is so much less itchy (itchiness caused by dryness) and less flaky. Also, I did some research before I ordered this scrub and ultimately decided to go through with it. Apparently, batana oil is like food for the hair/scalp that nourishes hair and promotes healthy hair growth. It’s like fertilizer on grass lol! Anyway, you get the idea! I will update with photos of my hair at some point down the road. But for now, I’ve done all the dirty work and research for you — I highly recommend at least giving this product a try because, at the end of the day, this stuff is great for your hair. And with the pricetag of under twenty bucks (at the time of my order and at the time of this review), I think this is a great value for the money.

I was hesitant about this scalp scrub. Honestly, I had never used one prior, and the idea of using a scrub on your scalp is just bizarre to me. I was wondering how I was going to get past my hair and actually scrub my scalp. I tried it, and I still kinda have that question. I made sure my hair was saturated, since I thought it would be easier to reach my scalp that way. I don’t know… the scrub reached sections. Like, it reached my scalp where I normally part my hair, because it was easy to access. I genuinely don’t know if I will ever use this (or any other) for my scalp again.However, for other purposes, like my shoulders, nape of my neck, feet, etc… this stuff is wonderful. I love the scent. It’s not overpowering and it’s very fresh. Even though it contains oil, it’s relatively easy to wash off but there is a silght residue and it does pose a bit of a slip risk. But that’s not enough for me to remove a star. I think this would be better as an all over body scrub including the scalp instead of just labeled a scalp scrub. It really is a nice product to have on days when you want something a little bit extra.I love the container it comes in. Reminds me of the Sol de Janeiro containers. Great size and color scheme, too. I love that it’s vegan. The texture and scent is almost good enough to eat (don’t do that, lol). Overall, I really like this product for my body, not my scalp, but maybe scalp scrubs just aren’t for me. 4/5. Recommended.

Scalp feels rejuvenated and healthy
I will edit once I’m able to use it more than a couple weeks, but the short term/quick results I can comment on now is how refreshed and clear my scalp looks and feels. I have fine hair which can get greasy very easily, but since using a clarifying shampoo and conditioner; I can spread out my hair washing days. With this mask mixed in just before I shampoo, it not only massages my scalp to increase blood flow (which is also beneficial for scalp health and hair regrowth), but helps eliminate any product buildup even further and hydrates my scalp.It has a light, fresh scent which I enjoy as a slight aromatic experience to my shower. I take about a quarter sized amount to start, a few drops of water and get a nice lather in my hands before taking it to the top of my scalp. I massage until the granules dissolve and I’ll take another quarter sized amount and get the back/remainder of my head. I follow up with my regular shampoo/conditioner routine which helps to remove any remaining particles from the scrub.I’m left feeling like my scalp is healthier and rejuvenated.

This has helped me significantly. So I get really inflamed skin on my scalp, part of CI and part of having very thick hair that I think my pores get clogged a lot. Often times my scalp feels like it’s on fire, but let me tell you I used this three days in a row and my scalp finally feels relief. Like less head pain if any at all and the buildup on my scalp is significantly less.This also does bubble up and get very sudsy. So once you get it on your scalp and start scrubbing add a little water and it will soap up like shampoo. AND RINSE THOROUGHLY. Like seriously, you think you rinses it all, I promise you go back and try again. This stuff is thick and it will take a few rinses, but the relief. I was ecstatic to find a scalp scrub with tea tree because it so beneficial to the skin. Literally cannot recommend enough. If you have a super oily head, if you have a super dry scalp. It works in clearing up the pores.
