Quiets pop-ups quickly.
This powder to cream decreases pop-ups quickly and is soothing. A better way of dispensing the powder would be a good improvement.

Good Product, Smaller Than Expected
I’ve always been a supporter of The Ordinary, and their sulfur powder to cream concentrate didn’t disappoint in terms of quality. It doesn’t have a bad smell, and it works well when mixed into my routine. The only downside is that the portion feels much smaller than I expected for the price. Still, it’s a solid product and worth trying if you like The Ordinary’s straightforward approach to skincare.

easy to use, tiny amount needed per use
I get occasional breakouts and was looking for an effective spot treatment. This Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Acne Spot Treatment Concentrate from The Ordinary works amazingly well. I’d never tried a powder treatment like this before, and was concerned it might be hard to use. It is surprisingly simple though, and I just dump out a small amount of the powder and apply it directly to a blemish. The powder instantly dissolves into my skin and is invisible as well. It layers well with my other skincare products and blends easily under makeup. It does have a weird sulfur smell out of the bottle, but it isn’t something I notice once it’s applied to my skin. I use this twice daily after cleansing and it definitely helps to reduce the size and inflammation of blemishes. I feel like it speeds up the healing process and they go away a lot sooner with this. I notice an improvement by morning when I apply this before bed.My first impression was that this bottle was tiny, but now that I see how it only takes a tiny dot of this per use, I think this is a good amount of product. I can see this bottle lasting for many months, and think it is a good value for the money. The small bottle is also great for travel or on-the-go and is great for tossing in your bag or purse. The lid is secure and it doesn’t leak or make a mess which I like. I actually find the powder easier and less messy to apply than creams and ointments. I’m really happy with this overall and will buy again when I run out.

Didn’t See Any Results
I chose this treatment from The Ordinary thinking it would be a great quick solution for pimples since the concept sounded really promising. The texture is interesting, it starts as a powder and turns into a cream, which is pretty unique. The problem is that in practice I didn’t see any results on my pimples. I used it as directed but didn’t notice any reduction in size, redness, or improvement as the product claims.I expected it to be more effective, but in my case it just didn’t work as hoped.

Unique Delivery System
I was pretty jazzed to try out this new sulfur product by The Ordinary, having seen an advertisement for it on social media. It claims to be effective within an hour. However, that wasn’t really my experience with it. It comes in a little tiny bottle with a single hole, and you sprinkle a bit of powder onto your finger. It transforms into a light paste when rubbed into the skin and absorbs quickly. It has a slight sulfur smell, as expected, but it doesn’t linger. It’s not visible once applied and is a nice natural, matte finish. I had a whopper zit that I tried it out on and didn’t notice much of an effect after an hour. It did however, seem to take some of the redness and swelling down overnight, so I think the “effective within an hour” is a stretch. I’ll definitely keep this one in the arsenal though, because it seems to work as well as a cream and it doesn’t bleach out my pillow cases like benzoyl peroxide does. I really enjoy the delivery system because it’s so easy to apply. The bottle is tiny, but I think it will last awhile given how little powder is needed for the application. I don’t think I would use this on big patches of blemishes, but rather as a spot treatment here and there. Like most of The Ordinary’s products, this is an excellent value. I seriously don’t know how they can charge so little for their effective products!

Easy to apply powder. Good option for a spot treatment.
I’ve had good results with using a sulfur bar soap for acne before, so I was intrigued by this 10% powder to cream spot treatment. It’s tough to reliably measure the difference in pimple size when using a product like this, but I think this was helpful. It’s easy to apply–I just put some of the powder on a pimple and let it blend in. Other skincare like my moisturizer and sunscreen layer on top of this without issue. Surprisingly I didn’t experience much irritation from using this, though by this point my skin is pretty accustomed to a wide variety of skincare actives.I’m planning to alternate between this and a benzyol peroxide spot treatment when I get another pimple.

Expensive, difficult to get out of the bottle, and no evidence of results
This acne spot treatment comes in a tiny little bottle that almost looks like a basic product sample, so I was surprised at how costly it is. When you remove the lid, there is a pinhole opening to get a small amount out to tap onto an acne spot. I found it very difficult to get the powder out. I tried holding my finger to the bottle, quickly turning it over, and bringing it back to remove my finger but that barely produced anything I could see. I tried tapping it from the side, but it went out everywhere. This pinhole really doesnt work for me.I tried several dabs onto my face where I had broken out, and absolutely nothing happened. I’m not sure if this is because I’m having trouble getting it out or if it’s an issue with the product. After a couple days of trying though, nothing has improved.

Easy to use
This review is for the The Ordinary sulfur 10% powder-to-cream acne spot treatment concentrate. This is easy to use. Sulfur is good for when you have active skin issues like blemishes, and this small container of powder is easy to shake out and apply. It didn’t really turn into a cream like I was expecting but it did stay on where I applied it. You can smell sulfur but it’s not too overpowering. Because you don’t need a lot at a time, this is not a bad value for under $10 for the vial of sulfur powder. It seems to help move healing along when you have an active breakout.
