i used this pretty regularly a coupleof years ago when i was having an issue with reflux. it relieved my reflux and after i finished the bottle, i stopped taking it. the reflux was gone. fast forward to a month ago when i started having more reflux. my fault. i wasn’t paying attention to how many acidy things were in my diet i.e. coffee, tea and tomato sauce. so i ordered another bottle. the price has increased substantially from when i took it before but i knew it had worked so i bit the bullet and ordered a bottle. and i’m happy to say that it helped again. i started out taking the recommended dose but have cut down to one pill a day once the reflux stopped. i understand that licorice root can cause high blood pressure when taken in large quantities (whatever that is), which is why i cut down to one daily tablet.if you have acid reflux this is worth a try. it’s not a miracle cure— not like you can eat pizza smothered with garlic every night without having issues with reflux, but it helped me be able to enjoy more foods with fewer issues.

Don’t waste your money
I started taking Thorne gi relief about a year ago. At the beginning it helped but every time I would buy another bottle it was a toss up if it would work. I called them and they told me each bottle is exactly the same. I call bull#$@& on that. I never had an issue with the licorice root raising my blood pressure because the ingredients were deglycyrrhizinated licorice root and it’s considered safer than regular licorice for blood pressure. I bought a new bottle a couple weeks ago and it spiked my blood pressure so much after taking it that it really made me nervous. I had a few pills from the previous bottle so I decided to see if they now did the same thing and it was just my body. Well, the ones from the previous bottle didn’t raise my blood pressure at all but the new bottle spiked it really high. So that just proved to me that NO, each bottle is not the same product. I will not waist my money any longer on this product.

Questo integratore è perfetto per il reflusso, io l’ho preso per la gastrite ed è stato d’aiuto (non posso prendere il pantoprazolo) e ha aiutato anche mia mamma che soffre di reflusso.Pare che la liquirizia dgl (deglicirrizzata) sia un rimedio scientificamente provato per il reflusso e la gastrite

Having been on these for approximately 3 months, I feel it’s time to give my opinion. Whilst I still get some extremely mild acid reflux (lasting for no more than a couple of seconds) this product really has calmed it down. I somewhat suspect the reflux would disappear entirely if I took more than 2 of these per day, but given their price, to do so would be rathe expensive.Anyway, great product!!
