Light, Buttery, & Smells Amazing
This body butter smells amazing, really amazing. It smells like sweet. warm cinnamon. I usually don’t like sweet scents, especially in body products, but this isn’t nauseating-ly sweet.It also looks like thick, luscious meringue. The scent and texture is almost enough to make you wonder what it tastes like, not that I would.Beside looking and smelling like a delicious dessert, it moisturizes pretty well.The texture is really soft, but thick and creamy. A little swipe goes a long way, all I need is about a quarter size dollop for each area of my body (arms, legs, chest)I love how, despite all the oils in it, this body butter doesn’t leave me feeling greasy or sticky. Less than a minute after I apply it, I can get dressed without my clothes sticking to me.When it dries it leaves an almost matte look.I have very dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin. This does do a good job at reducing redness and irritation on my skin, but it doesn’t really help with my eczema. After a while I still find myself feeling very itchy. It does help reduce itching once it starts, but doesn’t prevent it.Although it has a great ingredient list, I feel like it isn’t as nourishing as I’d like it to be. About 12 hours after I apply it, my skin starts to feel dry again (which I haven’t experienced with other body butters)Even if the price is almost 2x as much as you’d pay in store, it’s a good price(still cheaper than anything I can find locally) for people who don’t have a local Trader Joe’sPros: Smells and looks greatHelps with itchy skinMakes my skin really soft and smoothReduce rednessNo sticky or greasy film left on my skinCons: Doesn’t help prevent itchy skin

Very good stuff
This coconut body butter is interesting in that once you put it on, you can smell it, but after waiting a while and it being on your skin, the smell seems to get stronger which I like. So it takes a while in order to really get the full scent of the coconut. Perhaps it has to really absorb into your skin. Nevertheless, I like it and I like the smoothness as well as the scent. The scent seems to stay on for a long period of time which is also a plus.

I used to buy Body Shop…at $36 for 6 ou, when I needed to reorder I did a reality check. This is spectacular. The scent is lovely, just enough, but not over powering. It’s really moisturizing, but not too heavy (I love deep moisturization). I’ve been using body butter for face, arms neck, feet, well – basically my entire body for decades; I look younger than I am (also – wear sunscreen!!). I can’t believe I used to pay so much more when this is just perfect at the perfect price!!!
