This stuff works wonders!
My 3 yr old fell off a slide and really hurt the top of his cheek. For the first two weeks we put the natural calendula stuff on every day. But it ultimately wasn’t enough to prevent a scar underneath from forming. The scar looked like a dark permanent bruise as the upper skin (epidermis) had healed smoothly. I needed to use something stronger and I found this. I have been putting in on extremely diligently every night since mid August (I still am and it’s early October), and it has really lightened up the “bruise”. My ultimate goal is to have it completely disappear, and since it’s worked so far I’ll continue to get this stuff although a little application goes a long way! It says that to really work you must put it on several times a day, but unfortunately I’m at work most of the day so only at night time for him. My biggest mistake was not getting this stuff immediately after the fall. I think if I had used this stuff RIGHT AFTER the incident, he would have healed thoroughly and completely. And once his skin is completely healed I’m buying another one to have on hand just in case!

Wow! This really works
Either my 4 year old has super-human regenerating powers or this stuff is incredible. I’m writing this review as I think that it is the latter. After our little princess took 10 stitches to the forehead from diving into our coffee table, I researched what types of scar care treatments were available for children. There are not very many. The primary product seems to be Mederma for Kids. It has the most reviews and seems to basically own the market share for this category. However, when I went to purchase it was out of stock. Not wanting to waste time on treating the scar (stitches out last Thursday) I ordered TriDerma Scar Block. It is a new product so there weren’t any reviews yet (guess I’m the first one.) As a baby, we had tried TriDerma on my daughter’s eczema and it worked really well, so I thought I’d give the scar block treatment a shot. All I can say is Wow! The difference in less then a week is incredible. Thank you Triderma. I encourage everyone looking for a scar treatment for their child to try this product, you will not be disappointed.

amazing product! I cannot believe it makes my little girl heals so fast and so perfect. loving it so much! I would like to reconmend it to all the people who need it. my girl was only 1.5 year old and was hurt by a piece of glasses from a bottle on her nose. it was so terrible and I even called ambulance. She didn’t be stiched but sticked by glue. 9 days later, after scab dropping, the area was quite red. so I started using Triderma. 4 weeks passed now, the red coulour fades a lot! I order another 2 items and hope they will make it invisible after a few months. But don’t forget to massage infected area 2-3 times a day, 5-10 mins each time after applying the gel on it, it will help to absorb it.

AMAZING!
I really wish I could give this product 10 stars! It is amazing! My daughter got a 2nd degree burn and was only giving bacitracin in the ER. With her being so small they did not recommend using Silvadene. So I used the bacitracin for a couple of days until I found this. Within the 1st use you could tell moisture had began to be restored. On the 2nd day of use it was less red, smoother and not as crusty looking. By day 4 of use it is pink with out any crusty/dry skin. This product creates a barrier and stays on for a while! This product will be in my first aid kit at all times!

poor cap design
I think the gel is effective in improving appearance of scars. The problem is the poor container/ cap design. More than half of the gel leaked out of the cap on a warm day and it kept on leaking. So most of the gel purchased got wasted.

DO NOT USE……
I purchased this for my 6 year old granddaughter a few months back. It actually made a fairly new abrasion worse. She felt burning and heat at the site and it made what looked like tiny blisters appear. We immediately stopped using it. We had to take her to a dermatologist for a prescription ointment. Our calls and photos to the manufacturer went nowhere. They claimed there was nothing wrong with their product. I do not recommend this product for any child. Not a scar blocker, a scar maker……

Triplet dad here, bought Triderma scar for my boys who will get cuts once and a while. Grandma insisted we buy something to prevent scars for the boys. Jury is still out, it helps the scar process heal faster.

I have used this on my daughter for just a few days and the results are amazing!!! Mederma for kids did not help her scar in the pst several weeks but triderma has helped tremendously!!!
