I was kind of confused when I first got these pads because I’ve never used anything like them before. Somehow in my head these had to be a toner which is not what they are! Once I got it straight mentally that these are more like a makeup remover wipe but in a pad form, I was set! They actually do work really well for cleansing, the problem is they’re really small so if you have a lot of makeup on, you might go through three of these! If you use several everyday to remove your makeup, it’s going to get expensive pretty quick. What I started doing was using a makeup remover and then using these for my double cleanse. They work great this way!These are very saturated and they are a sturdy pad. They’re not one of those new thin super thin ones! There’s plenty of cleanser product on them. And I just wipe it all over my face using the side that’s rougher and then flip it over and do it again. At this point, the instructions say to allow it to sit on your skin for 2 to 3 minutes. Then you rinse it off and dry your face. Unfortunately this is where the problem happens because if all you do is rinse your face off before you dry it with a white towel, you will stain your towel yellow! The product doesn’t smell bad and it doesn’t seem to leave any color behind after you rinse and then wipe it off, but it does transfer some of the color to your towels.If you use two pads a day, you should get a whole month’s use out of this container, which isn’t too bad. I don’t know whether I would buy this again or not yet simply because I haven’t seen any results, but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks now so maybe it’s a cumulative thing that takes a while? Either way I did like using this product and it does clean the face well, I just don’t really know about any long-term benefits yet.

The Senotori Turmeric Konica Cleansing pads are NOT a micellar water/ineless type of makeup remover cleansing pad! I didn’t expect that!These textured pads are saturated with an actual foaming cleansing solution. When applied to damp skin, it foams while the texture of the pad gently exfoliates. Having the two textures on the pad is very nice and it does feel like it cleans nicely. The cleanser does leave my face feeling clean without being overly tight. I’ve used it alone and as part of my double cleansing routine and it performs well both ways.There’s a bevy of beneficial components to this cleanser but as it’s a rinse off solution none of them will remain on your skin long enough to make much of a difference! There’s no overwhelming scent, just a hint of a botanical and natural aroma.I like these pads well enough and imagine for a traveler who prefers foaming cleansers they would be a great item for use and convenience. I will use the remainder of the jar happily enough but as I dont travel unchanged or use foaming cleansers very often it wont be a repeat item for me!

Cleansing pads that I would repurchase
I’ve used cleanser/toner pads in the past and expected these to perform pretty much the same way. I was surprised to discover that they actually start foaming when you rub then on your face. As a cleaning pad, it works very well to remove makeup and dirt. My skin feels very clean without feeling dry or tight. With a textured surface and kojic acid, the pads gently exfoliate. The pads are soaked in a solution containing a number of ingredients known for skincare properties, but I’m not sure how beneficial this really is since you’re essentially rinsing it all off once you finished cleaning your face. All the same, I like the way the pads work to remove all the makeup and daily grime, and how my skin feels once I rinse it off.

Gentle exfoliation
It’s too early to tell if this will help with hyperpigmentation, but it does feel pretty nice on the skin. I have somewhat sensitive skin and I didn’t have any irritation leaving it for the full time, rinsing it off, and then leaving my face bare to see if it started feeling tight or itchy (it didn’t). I think it’s super gentle and can probably be used every day. No strong smell.
