I’m a big fan of Runa. I honestly tried this as a cheaper alternative. It does work, but for the quantities I need to get the Runa effect, it doesn’t make it a cost savings. It’s nice to have the bottle around when you just need a pick me up like now. The price is steep in my opinion for the dosage I was using. Price could get lower.

I really liked this product it has a nice tea taste that was pleasant and made the extract easy to take. It gave just the right amount of energy so I did not crash or have jitters like I do sometimes with coffee! I want to but it again. This vile lasted me a little while too. I like to add it to my teas.

Sugary
Maybe my fault for not researching first: I didn’t realize that vegetable glycerin, which comprises most of this product, is cloyingly sweet and full of sugar. If sugar is not a problem for you then maybe this product is good. But if you dislike sugar, like me, you’ll probably want to steer clear. There is no Nutritional Fact Label on the website or on the bottle, which would have guided me to avoid this product.

A nice alternative to other caffeine products – but unclear how to balance with other supplements
I like that this extract provides extra energy from something other than coffee, tea, or some crazy energy drink. What I don’t like is that it’s difficult to know exactly how much caffeine it’s providing in each 1.2mL dose. A cup of guayusa tea provides a similar amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, but there is no information about how concentrated this product is.I’ve tried experimenting with some different doses to get an idea myself and my best guess is that each dose is providing somewhere between 30-70mg of caffeine. That, however, is a pretty big range and not very helpful if you’re trying to determine exactly what you need for your body. If you’re just looking for an occasional extra energy, adding a drop or two to another beverage will probably give you what you want. If you are looking to use this as part of a larger plan, the lack of information makes doing so difficult.

This product was chosen as a complement to a Match green tea (for catechings). Guayusa was chose for the benefits of mental acuity. Within a day I felt on top of my game mentally. Don’t know if it was Guasusa alone or the combination with the Matcha. In an event, I’m a happy camper!

Helping with inflamed joints
I didn’t get as much of a boost as I was hoping for, but I do think this is helping with inflammation, so I really can’t complain.The dropper makes it easy to use, and it’s nice when I take a break from coffee because there seems to be enough caffeine in it to stave off the caffeine withdrawal headache.
