Great cleanser
Excellent facial cleanser. It does tingle when it’s on your face. But it means that it gets into the pores and cleanses them. I do love the feeling afterwards. I don’t have any sensitivity. I feel like it’s effective and it doesn’t cause the skin dryness afterwards.

Affordable but feels weaker than other brands
tl;dr: great product. buy it.I use this stuff frequently. Occasionally a bottle is clumpy and barely powerful, like it was stored in a hot place and the benzoyl peroxide already reacted. I would say this occurs every 1 in 10 bottles, but it makes you wonder if there is a less noticeable — but still present — decay in other bottles. The same amount feels a little weaker than 4% strength Neutrogena-brand benzoyl peroxide on my skin — which given the half-life of benzoyl peroxide is not a wild claim.I still buy it because even if apply twice as much, its still cheaper than the competition. And BTW, benzoyl peroxide in general has done wonders and cured my acne.

This Amazon Acne Cleanser is very effective at keeping my skin pretty. I use it daily and have noticed a clear improvement in reducing acne and preventing new breakouts. It contains a strong 10% benzoyl peroxide formula and does not necessarily feel gentle, but it is also not an issue or uncomfortable (other reviewers seem to be more sensitive to it). The texture does not leave my skin feeling overly dry or uncomfortable after use. Personally, I keep it on for 3-5 minutes, but if you experience irritation, try reducing the contact time to 10-20 seconds. Overall, it is a reliable and affordable option for effective acne control.

OMG It’s one of the best creams I use
I’ve been using this almost a year now, from a recommendation from dermatologist for the active ingredient. I found this Amazon product with th suggested active ingredient and a comfortable price.OMG the results are amazing. I’m overweight. Because of that and medications I take. I had been getting abscesses under my breast, stomach folds, and my arm pits. The oozing, blood and bandages. Well for me was scary. Since I started using this product 3 days a week. No more abscesses. A 2 year problem at that point.Recently I was neglecting using it as often as recommended. So I noticed a new abscess under a breast. About ready to open. I took a shower using the cream(as directed). For the first time ever. The abscess never opened. It actually reabsorbed. Mind blowing. I highly recommend this product. 3 times a week in those 3 spots. A whole bottle last a month. Thank you Amazon, it’s truly amazing.

Bought this for a fill in while I was waiting on another product to arrive. Feels good on the skin and now I keep it in my shower for use a couple times a week. Mildly foamy. Moderately strong scent. Leaves a slight tingly feeling (like menthol). Not super effective for my acne though.

Amazing, stains clothes
Have been ordering this stuff for years. The same product as drug store benzoyl peroxide but a fraction of the price! Works very well. Be careful though, benzoyl peroxide stains cloths and towels. So make sure to not was your face with clothes on and use a white towel to dry off.

DO NOT BUY!!! BURNS AND IS HORRIBLE
Soon as you open it up, you are met with a wave of fragrance. It is head-spinningly strong and unpleasant. Why does a cleanser need that much fragrance in the first place? As for the actual product, it is made out of majority alcohol. And so as soon as it touches your skin, it feels like it’s burning. I understand the importance of having some alcohol in acne products, but this is an insane amount and it makes up the bulk of what this product is. Just straight up putting acetone on your skin. That’s what it feels like. As for its effectiveness, Panoxal is so much more effective. I tried this and I started having random acne in places that I didn’t have acne before. This does not work. I know you’re trying to save some money by getting the Amazon Basics product, but it is 100% not worth it. It is absolute cheap crap. Do your skin and yourself a favor by not getting this.
