I’ve tried so many edge control gels, and most either flake, dry my hair out, or stop working after an hour. But this one from Bask & Lather is different—in the best way.✅ Strong Hold: It really does what it promises. My edges stayed laid all day, even in humidity. I didn’t have to touch up at all.✅ No Flakes or White Residue: Huge win for me. It dries clear and doesn’t leave any weird buildup.✅ Moisturizing Formula: I was pleasantly surprised by how soft my edges felt even after hours of hold. Best Edge Control for 4c Hair. Came Highly Recommended
I have 4c hair and I did a set of butterfly locs on my hair. I did it and when I woke up the next morning, after wearing a headband and bonnet to bed, my edges didn’t move. Now I got the type of edges that curl up soon as you go outside. I’ve been at work all day and they still laid. Never have I ever had an edge control that can do this! It smell good, a little goes a long way, no flaking, and also it did great on my parts for the butterfly locs. It’s worth $16.

I use truly as an edge control. I wet my hair before using. Tiny amount of product works great but if you use too much then it will flake a little. You can ju use water and smooth it out. The hold is great. The bottle lasts a long time. I wouldn’t recommend on a large amount such as smoothing down my ponytail. It’s not necessary on my hair type (2a) , a little at the edges works great and holds my ponytail down nicely without using more products.

Edge control Review
Easy to use especially as a beginner, it holds well and for quite some time. I don’t find it to be itchy or flaky at all. You get a good amount for the price and quality, it has a slight shine it does dull after a while through out the day but as most do. It is thick, it soreads well but definitely sticky.

BEST EDGE CONTROL + Worth the $$$$
Nothing and I mean NOTHING could get these edges laid….until this. Now was I really wanting to spend almost $20 for an edge control….absolutely not BUTTTTT baby it works too good. There is a lil bit of flaking/cast but ive found that if my hair is a lil bit damp or if i dampen the edge control brush and then tie my edges down it helps. Also that may just be product build up from slapping this on there everyday. For context my hair is 4a texture and absolutely never lays with any of the other popular brands…. would definitely order again.

Mixed Race Hair
Pleasantly surprised! I generally have a really hard time finding an edge control that works for my mixed race hair. I didn’t have high hopes but I must say, this is a really great product. Leaves my hair super soft and conditioned while providing solid, non flaky hold. Doesn’t hold for long which is the sad part but it’s still a great option.

This might be the best edge control I have ever used! I have natural locs and I use it to lay my edges down and trust me when I say they get laid with this stuff. No flakes, no white stuff and a little goes a long long way! I lay my edges and tie my scarf on while getting dressed and my edges can last for a few days I’m sure if I didn’t wipe it off every night. This stuff is great and it smells good. I highly recommend
