My husband has allergies and has been coughing a lot lately,. I was hoping this Lisanatura Bronx Natural Cough Syrup would help him. He was not a big fan of the taste, but did feel like it coated his throat nicely. It is a thicker cough syrup. Because his cough is a dry cough, it didn’t help a whole lot, but I am hopeful that it will help more with a wet cough. The price is a bit higher than what a name brand cough syrup would run at the drug store, but I appreciate that this is natural with herbal ingredients versus medicine.

I’m not drinking cough syrups for the taste, but this one is just terrible. I thought of essential oils when I swallowed this.It was pretty thick, which was nice. Did it do anything to my cough? No. But, and it’s a big but, I regularly have a dry cough that won’t go away. So I can’t say it’s any worse on effectiveness than other products I’ve used. Overall, not a good value.

The Brontox Natural Cough Syrup contains natural ingredints which I like. But, it tastes absolutely not good! When I see cough syrups, I expect them to be pretty sweet and honey-like, but this was not sweet at all. It had a really strong, herbal taste that I couldn’t stand with lingering aftertaste. Despite how unpleasant it tasted, though, it did help relieve my cough, and gave good relief against cough. I just wish the taste was bit better.

I always use herbal remedies first over some of the more chemical medicines in the stores. This one seems to work just as well as some of the name brands in the stores. It feels the same going down and it gives the same results. It is made with high quality ingredients and I feel it is a great value.

This may be effective, but I’m starting to believe all herbal stuff tastes terrible. I’ve had a bad cold for a week, and I can’t really tell if this (or any other!) cold med actually did anything to reduce the symptoms.I do know it tasted so bad and with such a lasting flavor, that I don’t want to try it again, i’d rather stay sick.

Oof, that’s rough tasting. No current cough, but I tried a little. I can feel a desensitized feel in throat, after the initial burn. Which is probably from the Oregano. It packs a punch, taste wise. I think it’ll work, but yuck. I think I would like it better in lozenge form or spray form. I’m sure I wont care when I have a legit sore throat.I taste it forever afterward, and it burps with same flavor.Says it will help clear mucus. I think that aspect should be highlighted more. That makes this a dual purpose product– help reduce coughing and help with mucus!Seems like quality product and formula. Lots of info on the box, and ways to contact company.Says to not use when in “inflammatory states of gastrointestinal tract, the bile ducts, or liver failure” (wtf?), and the usual dont use if pregnant, not for kids under 12, and dont use for more than 5 days. They should have this info in the product description, and they should include the nutritional panel. Basically, oregano, eucalyptus oil, honey, and bushy lippia. But also a paragraph of added ingredients.Comes with little info pamphlet, and a measuring spoon (spoon head)I dont rate on price, but will comment that at nearly $24 —wowza!
