Besides having degenerative joint disease along with damage from over use, and childhood injuries, I required a couple of spinal fusions and entire neck fusion. Luckily for me, my spine surgeon is a DO rather than an MD, so he suggested some mineral supplements along with the calcium and D3. I was able to find them all in these capsules. The minerals definitely help me with the muscle spasms and occasional cramps.

I was diagnosed with osteopenia 10 yrs ago after a DEXASCAN. I started taking the high priced Bone Strength slib tabs made by NC, I am not saying the name as dont think I am supposed to. Took another DEXA in a few yrs and now was normal. Still normal a few yrs later. So, as the cost of the other brand went very high, I went for this as it was cheaper and seemed good. Well, had a DEXA a few weeks ago and back to mild osteopenia. I bit the bullet and went back to the other brand….like my Dr said, some things you just dont want to cheapen. If you are young ie onder 50, are not on any meds like steroids, are able to expercise on your feet occasionally , then by all means, this pill will be fine if you have had a normal DEXA….which all women should get a baseline at 50. If you do have osteopenia or worse, Osteoporosis, then find a way to the good stuff as once you get toa certain point, Drs will want to put yu on certain Rx pills or shots that have dreadful side effects. Being a nurse, Ive seen the damage they can do and for me, I wantto avoid them…some people have taken the Rx meds with no issues but many have not…prevention is best. Thats why its important to take a supplement BEFORE you develop bone loss. This one has all the important ingredients…some people do not understand that many calcium suppleents dont have the ingredients to make sure that the calcium is deposited in bone, not arteries! That said, this one still didnt work for me like the other one. Research, be aware and good luck.

Too soon to evaluate effectively
I have only taken these for less than a week. I take 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. From research, I read about this calcium combined with other synergistic supplements has shown to increase bone density and will not increase plaque in the bloodstream. I will be taking it regularly and see how test results compare. The calcium comes from ocean algae.

Misleading Advertising
Please be aware that although this product claims to be plant based and organic the calcium is not 100% plant based. I have 2 bottles of it unopened that I will be throwing in the trash because once you buy it you are stuck with it even though it is worthless to you. I believe the advertising to be misleading and I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.UPDATE: I am revising my review in response to how this company responded to my original review. They contacted me and offered a complete refund which I promptly received. No one should hesitate to do business with a company that has that kind of customer service. They truly do care about customer satisfaction.
