Original Review: I have been taking this chromium supplement for a week and a half and noticing amazing effect on suppressing appetite, which is what I got this for. I noticed a big difference after few days of taking it, not from the first day, so I’d say give it a week to really feel the difference.The suppressed appetite is not because I feel bloated or full after taking this supplement. It is surprisingly comfortable. I just don’t feel hungry or have that craving, but could still eat a small-normal portion each meal (about 300-400 Calories of balanced food) to feel like I ate plenty. I stopped overeating and snacking because I’m not hungry all the time anymore! So glad I found this product for such a reasonable price.Update 6/24/24: I have lost 4 lbs since I started taking this supplement all from being able to easily cut calories. I haven’t been able to exercise at all and sitting on the couch most of the day because of my broken foot, so it really is the effect from this supplement. People have told me I look like I have lost weight and even in a recent video, I look slimmer than before. I gained back all the weight in the last 3 days from having to eat cakes, pizza, junk food, etc due to birthday, but I believe it is temporary from food and water weight. I comfortably fit one size smaller than I started this supplement and my stomach feels smaller and get full with half the portion of what I used to eat. Since I’m back to eating non junk foods, I should be able to continue my weight-loss journey. I have read that some experienced negative effect on sleep, but my quality of sleep has improved. Before I was struggling to sleep through the night and had such a hard time getting up in the morning, but now I get quality sleep and able to wake up early without an alarm. Will keep on updating until I hit my goal weight.Update 6/27/2024: As suspected, the weight I had gained back from birthday already dropped and I’m on my way to losing more weight. Today was my doctor’s appointment for my foot fracture. He was pleasantly surprised at how fast the bone was healing. Initially he estimated it would take 10 weeks to heal at my age, but he is confident that I will be able to cut few weeks off of it! Surely I’ve been resting a lot, but I just looked up and lo and behold Chromium Picolinate regulates bone metabolism and prevents bone loss! Perfect for what I need.Update 9/20/2024: As in previous update, my foot healed faster than expected! Just forgot to update. The pain is much less but still lingering, of course, but now that the boot is off, I have started to add back exercise, counting macros (making sure I eat 90-100g protein) and meeting daily nutritional needs for the past 2 weeks, all while still taking this supplement. (I find Cronometer App to be super helpful) I’m only doing elliptical right now, for less impact on my still hurting foot and unrelated wrist pain, for 60 min a day 5 days a week, but I try to switch HIIT and endurance every other day, burning minimum 500 Calories from exercise but usually ends up 700+ Calories deficit per day. You would think I’d be starving and craving for food all the time eating 900-1200 Cal a day (I’m 5’1″ small built) but especially after starting back with exercise, I feel even less hungry and often find myself scrambling to eat a lot at the end of the day to meet my nutritional goal. I do eat about 1600 Calories on my off days, but eating clean. Lost 5.6 lbs in 2 weeks! Planning to up the daily intake to 1500 Calories once I add back resistant training and more exercises. I decided to continue taking Chromium Picolinate since it is still helping with appetite and sleep quality!
