Here is a very simple DIY Mud Mask Recipe:
Ingredients:
1) 1 part ClearLee’s Bentonite Clay Powder
2) 1 part water (a little less for thicker mud and a little more thinner mask)
3) Essential Oil of your choice (optional)
Directions: Mix in a small bowl Bentonite Clay and water until mud mask is smooth. Apply generously to face and enjoy while the mud dries. Once dried, wash off gently using water.
Optional: Mix in 2-4 drops of essential oil per cup of clay used. Replace half the water with aloe vera liquid for stronger hydration and soothing.

I purchased this to make dry shampoo powder and this product worked perfectly! The bag was a little smaller than expected but the price seems on par with other brands. This powder serves its purpose in the dry shampoo which is to soak up excess grease or oil on the scalp. I have not experienced any skin irritation since using. Would purchase again!

Buying bentonite this way is so much cheaper than when you have to buy it at a health food store or in capsules at your local discount pharmacy. If you do a little research you’ll find this product is good for so many things and purposes around the house. This is how I always buy my bentonite, in bulk and if I need it internally, I simply put into empty gel capsules I purchased especially for my use or I’ve even reuse capsules that have contained a product I have needed to open and possibly use in a recipe and recycled the empty gel caps.
