Essential Oil Blends Mixed with Carrier Oils
I have pretty much switched to using nebulizing diffusers, which require pure essential oil blends. I got these because I thought they were pure essential oils. They are not. After they failed the white paper test twice, I came back and reviewed this product page. Although the top of the page characterizes these as “Premium Essential Oil Blends,” and later says “no fillers, no synthetic fragrances, and not tested on animals. Just clean, high-quality oils you can trust,” if you scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at the ingredients section, it is clear that every one of these blends include grapeseed oil, one of the lowest quality carrier oils available, and one with a shelf life of only 3-6 months after opening. Many also contain Sweet Almond and Coconut oils. Additionally, some of these blends contain essential oils that do not promote the effect the blend purports to offer. For example, the sleep blend contains basil, an EO that is energizing and supposed to help relieve fatigue. Relax contains cinnamon, an EO with a lot of benefits, but relaxation is not one of them, yet no lavender, known as the most relaxing EO available. The oils in too many of the blends do not seem to have been chosen with the blend’s purported benefits in mind. Additionally, none of the “basic rules of blending” are followed, in terms of balancing top, middle, and base notes, in any of these blends.All of that being said, so long as you are just using these for a smell, rather than for the benefit the blend’s label claims, and you like the way a specific blend smells, you may like these. I like some of the blends more than others. I dislike the immunity, as it’s just a bunch of strong smelling base scents that do not go together well, but I do like the air freshening and happy. And so long as you are planning on using these in an application where oils pre-mixed with carriers is okay, you will like these. But be sure to make sure your diffuser is compatible with oil-heavy EO blends before using these in it. Most nebulizing diffusers and many ultrasonic diffusers are incompatible with carrier oil heavy EO blends. If you are using these in candles or soaps, they should be fine. If you want to use these in alcohol based perfumes, they will not work. And if you are using these in any application where you’d usually dilute with carrier oils, adjust your ratios, as these oils already have been diluted. Also, folks with tree nut sensitivities or grape allergies should not be using these blends in any end product that may trigger that allergy.You are getting a total of 2 oz of diluted oils for $17. Were these pure EOs, $17 would be a good price. However, considering these are already heavily diluted, the price seems a little high to me. I also feel that the product page and descriptions should be more transparent about these being diluted blends, rather than the Essential Oil blends they imply these are.

These have really nice scents and are a good value for six!
I really like these for the scent, even though they use carrier oils and are not the highest grade essential oils. We use a lot of these, so for the cost, these are a great value. We use them in a diffuser in the summer, but in the winter, we add oils to melted beeswax in a cast iron cup that sits on our wood pellet stove. Using them the way we do in the winter, we go through quite a bit, so good value for nice scents are important.

Interesting blend of scents
In this set are six 0.33 oz dark glass bottles of essential oil blends. Relax is one. It smells nice. It reminds me of a men’s aftershave. Sweet Dreams is next. I like it for a diffuser smell or a soap fragrance. It smells a little citrusy with some masculine notes. Air Freshening fragrance oil is very citrusy. It smells like a fresh squeezed lemon. Happy is another scent. It’s very soft and feminine. It has a sweet note to it. Calm Mind is next. It has a minty smell. I’m not a fan of mint scents, so this would be my least favorite. Lastly is Immunity. It’s the strongest scent in the box. I would’ve expected a thieves or citrus smell to this, but it’s a very off-putting odor. It’s almost like a bad cologne. Overall, i’s a nice set of oils for lotions, candles or diffusers.
