Tastes fine if you don’t add too much!
I mixed this with Moringa and Spirulina and used 1tsp of this powder blend with about 3 cups of unsweet coconut milk, 1tsp spinach powder, 1/4 cup mixed berries, 1/4 cup strawberries, 1 banana, 1TBSP vanilla protein powder, 1tsp spinach & 1tsp kale powder. (The banana was a little too much, I think I should’ve used only 3/4 – 1/2 banana.) But even with all of that in it, It tasted great! It didn’t LOOK yummy, but it really was!😋Surprised me! Ended up being about 4 cups of smoothie.✏I did NOT use the recommended amounts because this is dehydrated and ground up foods. I don’t want my body absorbing too much nutrients at one time and throwing away the rest of the food that I eat throughout the day.✏I felt full for about 3-4 hours. Like a normal meal!😊😉

I chose chlorella over spirulina because it’s “safer” (do your own research). Food to Live notes on their web site that their Chlorella Powder is made in the USA – however, on the package it only says “Packaged in the USA” (hence the four star rating – probably should give less for the withholding of info). So far I’ve been fine consuming it, though I only use a teaspoon a day mixed in my breakfast concoction. Smells of green hay, but the taste isn’t overwhelming – so yeah, it’s alright.

Making chlorella water for my seedlings.
I bought the chlorella powder to use as a starter for making chlorella water for my seedlings. I was afraid that it is dry and will not have any life in it, but, to my surprise, chlorella starter to grow in water, and I have good food for my green babies. A really inexpensive way to start chlorella water. Good stuff.
