This is the 3rd brand I have tried for spirulina/chlorella. The first brand I tried was good (same size/quality of tablets), but much too expensive. The second brand I tried came in capsules, and they were difficult to swallow, so i had to take them one at a time with a drink – sometimes they got stuck in my throat.This brand, Good Natured, is just right 🙂 Very effective and high quality, easy to swallow & affordable. I have noticed a significant decrease in brain fog, increased energy throughout the day, I believe it is improving my skin’s appearance (lots of collagen and important proteins, etc., in these tablets), and I have been sleeping so well at night! My only question that I am still trying to figure out is if there is heat applied during the drying process, I read somewhere that some of the proteins/benefits can be destroyed during that process if not done correctly and that many companies do not do it correctly because it cost more to do so. If anyone knows the answer to this, I would love an update.

Choosing cleanest sources for superfoods is not easy. Many companies are willing to put profit before quality. And then is an issue producing superfoods in polluted environments such as China, where the soil, water and air are extremely contaminated. In addition food standards are much lower than in the EU therefore ‘Organic certifications’ is in doubt. Currently the best quality for spirulina and chlorella is produced in Taiwan. Yes it is pricier than other suppliers, but you’re paying for premium organic quality which is immediately visible in appearance, smell and taste.Spirulina and chlorella have many proven benefits; full of proteins and vitamins including B-12, detoxing heavy metals, detoxifies after chemotherapy and radiation, improves digestion, weight loss, improves immune system, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol and many more.
