natural 4c4b hair. Six years natural one big chop initially and seriously shortened after hair fried in a protein overload mistake with coconut cream. Since the protein overload, my hair thatched to live coconut oil, now hardens right up on contact. Took awhile to recover from that, and to find moisture that my now super non porous hair would absorb. No ‘cones ever, even though most products just sit on my hair. This absorbs. As stated by another poster, I learned about this product from a youtuber. It really works for me. My hair is soft and curly and dense. Love it!

The V05 shampoo works great for me as a clarifying shampoo so I wanted to try the whole set but this conditioner dried my hair out so bad that I got split ends for the first time in my life.

I started to co wash my hair after going natural , after watching a lot of the you tube African American woman talk about co washing their hair . At first I did not understand what was the purpose but it made sense . If you have hair that is dry or you use products like gel and so on it’s not a bad idea to wash these things out of your hair once within the week then go for washing your hair using shampoo when the week ends . I find now when I do this my hair has less build up and feels good . This conditioner cleans and softens the hair with out drying the hair . How I use the product to co wash is I would wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner on Sunday , then I would use my hair gel or other hair products thru out the week like Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday . Then on Thursday I would co wash my hair only using the Vo5 clarifying conditioner to clean my hair then rinse it out, then on Sunday I would shampoo condition treat my hair . I love the fact that this conditioner cleans the hair well and most of all the price is great . I give this item a 5 star rating .
