The book starts by explaining what herbal tea is and gives a little history about herbal teas in different countries through the years. This book also provides the reader with information about where to obtain good quality and reasonably priced herbs to make your own herbal blends along with recipes broken down by the benefits of each herbal blend. Benefits like stress relief, sleep inducing, digestive help, immunity boosting, and more. This book also talks about potential risks that one may encounter with herbal teas and goes over responsible consumption of herbal teas. Overall, this book is a great comprehensive guide for both novice and expert herbalists and a great guide for someone who just enjoys drinking herbal teas. I highly recommend.

Brian Turner has written a very informative book on teas. He goes over the history and origins of different teas as well as the benefits of each. The detailed recipes are easy to prepare. Fantastic book on Herbal Teas
I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of great information on WHY to use certain herbs and what herbs have specific properties. A lot of the recipes can be made with ingredients already at home or from the grocery store. There was a huge variety of options for each “remedy” so if you didn’t like one, or one didn’t work, there were other options to try.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I found it to be a balanced look at many wonderful herbs that have awesome benefits for the body but recognizing the need for balance in all areas of one’s life. Love the variety of recipes given as many times there are only two or three given with you wanting more. This is a great book to read especially for those of us just starting on our herbal tea journey. Would recommend for both the inexperienced and experienced tea drinkers.
