Great for toddlers who have Hand, Foot, Mouth virus!
I had never heard of the Hand, Foot, Mouth Virus until my little one got it. At first I thought she had small mosquito bites on the bottom of her feet (from being outside at a family backyard gathering), but after a couple of days, her arms and hands looked like she had been bitten and had a heat rash. As a concerned mother, I consulted with a few mothers, to include the directors of her childcare center and they immediately confirmed that my little one had the virus. I called her doctor right away and the doctor stated that she had the virus and it would have to “take its course”. NO creams, NO oral medicine, NO bathtime suggestions, were offered.(the doctor DID state that she had 6 patients that morning with the same virus before my child was seen….so this wasn’t a random situation).Mother’s Tip:Orally: I gave my child this product 3 times a day.Bath: Aveeno Oatmeal bath everyday until it was goneLotion/Cream: California Baby “Calendula Cream/Everyday Lotion” which also has lavender in it.I called a friend of mine who eats very healthy, has a strict diet and uses natural herbs with her daughter. She said her child too had the virus at one time and quickly recommended Herbs for Kids”Sweet Echinacea” without hesitation! I ordered this product from my local health food store and gave it to my child the day it came in…and the next day, you could see that the virus was quickly clearing up!!! The product tastes good (I tested it first) and my daughter was eager to take it when I needed to give it to her. (I also suggested that my health food store (who’d never heard of the virus either) to offer it to parents who might experience the same situation as my family did. It’s a GREAT product to always have in your home, especially during cold/flu seasons.I hope you find this story useful…I feel experiences like this one should be shared, because as parents, we do not have all the answers, but my goal is to make life a little easier for us.

I use this every time we are about to go on the airplane, and when one child is sick. Have seen the sick child get better faster, the other child not catching it, and no sickness while traveling. Seems to be very effective. Kids love the taste, they enjoy taking it (5yr old and 3yr old). Also works well on asthma and allergies but needs to be taken daily to be effective. I have not tried that recommendation, but seems to help during colds to reduce asthma symptoms and as I mentioned before get over the cold faster. Shipped great and packer took extra care with lots of bubble wrap.

Wonder supplement! Drastic improvement in repeated illnesses in kids. I recommend it to everyone!
We started using this product when our son was around 2 1/2. He was pre-asthma, since they don’t diagnose that early. He used to come home from daycare every Thurs sick. We started using this and noticed an immediate improvement, even though we only give 1 dose at bedtime. It recommends several times a day. The longer he took it, the more his immune system built up. By the time he was 3, the illnesses were further and further in between. We still take it now, he’s 5, but can’t tell any major problems if we miss a day here or there. I’ve taken it myself at the onset of cold/flu symptoms and it helped me too, even though it’s the kids version.

I trust Herbs for Kids for many of my children’s needs, specifically when they are small with developing immune and nervous systems. I have used it on now all 3 of my babies ranging from 16 months to 16 years and I have always been satisfied with the results. Great, safe product! Note: Do your research on how to use herbs properly and mixing with prescription drugs. Herbs are powerful and effective when used properly.

EXCELLENT!
I bought this for my rats, to help with their persistent respiratory symptoms. They loved the taste, (and so did I) so I don’t think children will have a problem with it. I tastes sort of like prunes, and it definitely works. My rat’s symptoms lessened within the first week, and her sneezles were gone in the second. If you’re buying this for your rats, please, please check with your vet first.

I bought this Sweet Echinacea which I have bought many times in the past. The bottle came with the Lot# and exp date fields blank. That does not make me feel safe to giving it to my kids.
