What a wonderful book!
I loved this book! First off I didn’t realize how harmful and jam packed with nasty ingredients over the counter make up has in it. I was shocked. I really appreciate how this book covers the ingredients in make up you absolutely want to avoid. I also thought mineral make up was better for your skin than regular make up but was surprised to learn otherwise. Kate Anderson enlightened me on easy recipes for skin and hair care that I love! The recipes have only a few ingredients that are things you probably have in your kitchen. Start treating your skin the way it deserves to be treated! I love the oatmeal mask and the sea salt and lavender scrub!! I definitely reccomend this book.

Great chemical free beauty products
I am tired of paying crazy prices for beauty products! Plus none of them are actually good for your skin with that long list of chemicals in them. I decided to start making my own, and my first attempt was the Oatmeal Anti aging mask. I actually really liked it. My skin felt great afterward, and I think I’m going to do it every week at least. So glad I tried it!

I can not believe how much toxic chemicals I was using on daily basis. Thank God for this book that opened my eyes before it was too late.I seriously recommend everyone to get this book and get rid of all the health damaging compounds in their beauty and hygiene products. There are also bunch of cool recipes as an alternatives!

This is a very short book, and I already was aware of most of the information in the book. If you paid any attention to the news or Consumer Reports or the Environmental Working Group’s publicity, you know 80% of what is in this book. Thankfully, it is quite inexpensive.

I try to use as many natural products as possible so I wasn’t a surprised to find out that some skin products have the same chemicals as household cleaners! But, I did learn a lot of new information reading this guide and I’ve already recommend it to my family and friends. The recipes are unbeatable. They’re simple, effective, and cheap!

Bitterly disappointing with this book. As it’s a natural homemade beauty product book, one would have expected to see at least one illustration but there are none. NOT ONE IMAGE! Just text upon text upon text. The book is also very thin, more like a thick pamphlet rather than a book. You’re lucky if it’s 25 pages. Please don’t waste your money. This is the worst homemade beauty products book I have come across thus far … and I have many as it’s my interest. Such a shame as I had high hopes for this book. Really don’t understand the positive feedback in the reviews because I disagree 100%.
