Doesn’t last long and does stain
20 mins is definitely not long enough for the dye to set in. I had to leave it on for 40 mins. While it’s effective, it doesn’t last very long. Within the first shampoo a lot of the grays are visible again. And they’re not kidding about this stuff staining things! I accidentally dropped some of it onto a paper towel I had laid over my white bathroom countertop while I was applying it. The shampoo seeped through and stained my countertop. This stuff is best applied in the shower. While it’s a good product I want to at least get a couple of weeks out of a hair dye before I have to reapply.

Covers my speckled grey well. I use it each 3-4 weeks.
