Well worth a try for cholesterol issues!
I can not take statin meds…always side effects. So last try with one that supposedly has the least chance of side effects, had the worst side effects. So researched and read about garlic ,that could potentially reduce cholesterol. Researched garlic supplements further and was led specifically to Kyolic aged garlic, formula 107, intended for “cholesterol support”. At my recent 6 month checkup, both my doctor and I were happy to see that my cholesterol levels were improved. I was very proud to report that it was not due to the blasted statin meds, rather a natural ingredient. She smiled and said to just keep on doing it…it was apparently working for me. Yep! (As advertised, no smell, no taste.)

Face flushing side effect
Side effects. After just a few days of taking 2 caps per meal, my face would flush and feel hot and I didn’t realize it was from the garlic and kept taking it. I also saw my BP go up. My face became so red and sore with little red dots. I specifically did a search for each supplement I take to ask if it can cause side effects of face being flushed and sure enough, found garlic suppliant in large does can indeed cause flushing. I stopped it for a few days and now I’m only taking one capsule with meals. So far I have not had a reaction to the lower dose. I just hope it will still lower my cholesterol.

cholesterol cut from 232 to 203 in 90 days
My Heart doc put me on Lisinopril 20MG with a statin drug with duritics when my BP was about 145/85. My cholesterol was 232. I had not done my research, so I complied and took his meds. Several weeks later, I went back for a checkup to make sure his meds did lower my BP. I was well within the range of 125/78. Doc was happy, but I was not because I had done my research. I told doc that I had had time to do my research and his plan for me was my plan B or C. I told him I was going to take Kyolic Aged Garlic 107 for the cholesterol and OliPure BP for the BP. I am now on Day 102 since my visit to the doctor. I just had a new blood draw at 90 days to check the cholesterol and it came back as 203. My BP has taken a while to come down and this morning it was 123/79. Now I am exercising daily and not eating processed food (any food that comes out of a box). I have lost 15 lbs. I attribute the wonderful news of having cholesterol in control to the Kyolic Aged Garlic. You do not have to settle to let someone else control your future health…..doctors treat symptoms, not causes. Kyolic works. (Also, read Dr. Sherry Rogers book “Is Your Cardiologist Trying to Kill You”) When I showed this book to the doctor, he shut up……he then looked at my wife and said, are you going to let him do this and she said yes. Do your own research and win.

let me say I love Kyolic products
First, let me say I love Kyolic products. However, with this one, the product does not state the source of its phytosterols. I assumed (yes, I know) there was no soy since it wasn’t listed. A friend suggested I contact the company to be sure. I did. They responded quickly, thoughtfully and said the phytosterols could be from either corn or soy. They are not required to identify the source because of the quality of soy they use. The product is probably a great one for those not concerned with soy.

Might benefit your cholesterol management program…
I’ve been taking this formula @ two capsules at bedtime for three months. In that time my total cholesterol has dropped from 175/180 to 149. I took the supplement in a controlled way and cannot attribute this improvement reliably to other factors.I have also seen a modest rise in HDL and a marked decline in LDL.If Kyolic has any serious impact on blood pressure, it’s effect has been very subtle for me. Instead, I think their garlic/plant sterol formula might really be safe and effective for a number of people.The seller delivered the product on time and reliably packed.Pleased, and no significant gripes.
