Minty with a note of lemon taste
Fresh Lemon balm has such a calming scent, and dried and used as herbal tea brings back that comfortable and relaxing aroma of the fresh version. This tea brews well. There is more of a minty flavor to the brewed tea, and the lemon scent and flavor is just strong enough to make the blend very enjoyable.As a bonus, I did not feel like I needed to add any sugar or sweetener to the brewed tea. Since these tea bags do not need to be brewed a long time, the fact that the bags are a bit flimsy does not really matter that much. There were also a surprising amount of stems in the tea, but that did not make the brew bitter.Overall, these are nice tea bags, with the Lemon balm brewed tea having a mild mint flavor with a solid lemon undertone. If you are looking for a strong lemon taste, this might not be for you. Pricing is fair.

This doesn’t taste even slightly like lemon, so if that’s what you’re looking for then look elsewhere. Instead this tastes more like a wintergreen, it’s vaguely minty. Apparently that’s just how it tastes. It’s a gentle, smooth taste and not harsh like some mint teas. It’s definitely made it into my rotation of teas that I toss into my daily water bottle to make life more interesting by that little bit.The tea bags are made out of what looks to be a fibrous material, but I’m not sure if it’s synthetic or natural.
