Very good reference book
A nice reference book for anyone it also includes a session on how to make your own soap molds and cutters I found out that to be a great bonus, the only reason why I kept the book. Most of the recipes are basically the same using olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil and then she varies an ingredient or two but the author explains things very well, I think it’s worth the investment having it as a reference book. I also have to tell you that the goats milk recipe in this book is one of the best that I ever tried, very moisturizing and easy to make. Most recipes in this book make about 1.5 pounds of soap.

Simple and Informative
A very good and handy addition to your soap making library. Well written and instructions are very easy to follow with an excellent do it yourself section for tool making.

Very informative!
I bought this book as a complete beginner in soap making. It was written in an easy to understand format, and did not assume any prior knowledge of soap making. I learned a lot in a few pages. One note, probably at least half of the book is composed of soap recipes, but the first half really tells you all you need to know about the process anyway.

everything is in the title: natural
if you want to guide you through natural soap, sent, and colorants, it is the book!unconventional recipes (carrot , beer or wine soap), but always natural.and mostly simple recipe to work with goat milk.what I like the most is the fact she always use the same base for soap and adapt it with the other parameters , still staying natural.I learned a lot with her: how to stay natural. thank- you.

I enjoyed reading this book , clear instructions lots of good information and different blends of scent .Too chicken to make actual soap though …lye scares me !I understand it’s not difficult really ( especially after reading this book and the excellent safety checks ) but , and it’s a big but , I’m a bodger by nature I could no more accurately weigh stuff than fly and I just know that my slap dash methods would result in me burning off my skin !However I have learned theoretically how to make soap and I’m certainly going to use the scent blends in more me safe cosmetics ….

You can skip this one.

Good book, only drawback is the weights are all in imperial so I had to go through converting them. Much easier to get accurate weights in metric and that’s important for making soap.
